Pros:

Very nice owners, who speak very good English! A great welcome with lime juice, watermelon and cookies, delicious breakfast and dinner! Very quiet,
comfortable bed, hot shower, good working ac.
Such a lovely couple helping me with talking to Pickme drivers, who don't speak English very well.
Supermarkets a bit away, but reachable on foot.
Maybe the best stop for arriving or leaving Sri Lanka!

Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, kár, hogy csak 1 éjszakát töltöttünk ott.
Pros:

A szállás Veyangoda egyik mellékutcájában fekszik, emiatt nagyon csendes.
Az egész házat gyönyörű, hatalmas fák veszik körül és a kert is tele van zöld növényekkel. Még egy kis halastó is van. Nem csak a ház környezete buja, hanem rengeteg a zöld növény van az erkélyen is. A ház nagy, emeletes, mindegyik emeleten van 2 szoba. A szobák légkondicionálóval felszereltek és saját fürdőszobával rendelkeznek. Nagyon tiszták, rendezettek és megfizethetőek. Az ágy elég kényelmes, bár időseknek nem túl jó megoldás az ágy matrac alól kiálló széle és az, hogy a fal felől fekvőnek be kell másznia. De tiszta, jó illatú ágyneművel megvetett.
A tulajdonos egy nagyon kedves és segítőkész ember, ő volt az első helyi kapcsolatunk Srí Lankára érkezésünk után. Eljött értünk a reptérre, és türelmesen várt, amíg mindent elintéztünk. Távozáskor a Botanikus kertbe is elvitt bennünket. Még a veteményes ketjüket is megmutatta, a számunkra ismeretlen növényeket. Vacsorázni és reggelizni a saját házába vitt el, így megismertük a családját is: a rendkívül kedves feleségét - aki istenien főz - és a 3 tündéri gyereküket. (ikrek). Köszönjük!

Great location with value for money
Pros:

This is great value for money considering the location and the facilities. The host was very friendly and approachable. We came very late in the evening, but he welcomed us well. The bedwas comfy and the room was very clean.

As soon as you enter the big sliding door, you are welcomed by bamboo plants which create a very pleasant ambience. As the name suggests, the courtyard features a mango tree with a concrete table underneath.

The place is very calm and quiet; it is within walking distance of Veyangoda town but away from the crowds. There are two floors with two rooms on each. The rooms have A/C and attached bathrooms, and are very neat, tidy, and reasonably priced. The owner is a very kind person ❤️.

Suggestion: I recommend adding a signboard outside the gate and a small wardrobe in the room for guests to keep their clothes and personal belongings.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay at this residence.
