Ein familiär geführtes Haveli, das Gelassenheit ausstrahlt. Großzügige Zimmer mit geräumigem Bad, ein sehr gutes Frühstück, engagierte Mitarbeiter und ein zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Eine kleine Oase im Trubel der Stadt!

Rooms

Heritage building in the old town with its own parking lot. Spacious rooms, new amenities. Hot water always. Attention to details. Comfortable beds, crispy bedsheets. Delicious breakfast (cuscus was to die for). Attention to details. But what’s the most important is the vibe and atmosphere of hospitality that makes you feel a dear guest. Special love to the dining room with its pictures on the wall, books and authentic furniture. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful family-owned hotel. The owner family is very welcoming and shows great hospitality. Very kind and educated people. They take great care of guests wishes and can give their advise if needed.
Food is prepared freshly by family members and they prepare it according to guest‘s whish.

3 nuits au Chanod Haveli Heritage à Jodhpur. Un séjour qui restera l’un des plus marquants de notre voyage au Rajasthan. Cet Haveli historique, transmise dans la même famille depuis plusieurs générations, est aujourd’hui un guest house où l’on se sent immédiatement accueilli comme un invité privilégié.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres, fonctionnelles et décorées avec soin. L’ensemble de la maison est magnifique et parfaitement entretenu. Le dîner découverte est préparé par la maîtresse de maison : une explosion de saveurs.
Un immense merci aux parents, à Ridhima, à son époux et à toute l’équipe pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur gentillesse et leur grande discrétion. Un accueil sincère et profondément humain. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Es stimmte einfach alles: die Lage erlaubte uns , zu Fuß zum Markt und Glockenturm zu gehen; dieser großen Zimmer mit Ankleideraum und großem Bad, das tolle reichhaltige Frühstück wie auch das freundliche Personal haben uns einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt beschert. Der Preis ist dafür günstig und in zwei Monaten gibt es noch einen Fahrstuhl.

The hotel room was beautiful, with comfortable beds and very clean spacious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were so kind, producing different traditional foods for us to sample each morning. Our host also gave us lots of recommendations and help with planning our onward trip

Location and heritage look and feel

Old building and big bathroom and well ventilated. The owner made up for the shortcomings from the location and renovation work with his hospitality.

Freshly cooked food using local ingredients. Plenty of choice. Owner or his wife or daughter always on hand to answer any questions we had.

All was perfect. The owner and his family are very kind and welcoming. The rooms are very nice.

Big rooms. New jotel

I am in love with Chanod Haveli! We are on a road trip through Rajasthan and this is the first accommodation which gave us Rajasthani vibes. The room / floor we stayed in, is from 1896! Large verandahs border the rooms on either side. Stained glass on the doors and light flowing through stained glass transoms above doors and windows. Room and washroom are large (the joys of old housing) , modern facilities, impeccably starched and white bedding and towels(they are personally very important for me). And the beautiful marble flooring! For dinner, we were guided by Mr Shailendra Singh to a neighbouring restaurant. And what a view! Mehrangarh fort , Umaid Palace, fountains. The food was equally delicious. We had a delicious breakfast at Chanod Haveli itself before leaving for Jaisalmer. Took us back to our childhood days, of formal settings and relaxed breakfasts. As I said in the beginning, this is the Rajasthan experience I was looking for .

Very nice décoration. Very nice shower. Very nice food for the breakfast, diversified and not too spicy for foreigners. Good location close to the train station and in old town.


The owner is the most arrangeable and niciest person we met.

Everything was superb, we loved our three nights at Chanod Haveli. Service, location, facilities all perfect. We especially liked the location as it is an easy walk to Blue City, markets and the fort, yet was in a quiet area, so there was no outside noise after dark. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom and balcony very large. The breakfasts were enough to keep us going for the day. We got lazy and ate in every evening also as the food was of such high quality. Thoroughly recommend without hesitation.
