Ideal location to explore the old city
Pros:

This hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the old town.
Rooms are well appointed and are as described, are large, they are really comfortable.
The staff are amazing and communication starts before you arrive with a welcome email that even provides what you should expect as pricing for autos from airport and station.
The view from our room and restaurant is wonderful. The food is also extremely good.

Il Raj Mandir è un piccolo hotel molto caratteristico, ben arredato e curato nei dettagli, la posizione sarebbe anche comoda se si vuole girare tra i vicoli della città blu, peccato che fuori dall’hotel regna l’incuria, la sporcizia, i cani randagi e il caos di motorette che suonano in continuazione. Noi avevamo due bellissime camere comunicanti con rispettivi bagni e una bella terrazza. La colazione era sufficiente. Il personale disponibile.

Cons:

Durante il nostro soggiorno le camere non sono mai state pulite, però non è stato un problema. Quello che ci ha creato più disagio è stata la sporcizia fuori dall’hotel.

Its an ok place. Location is good but No Parking place. Breskfast is very ordinary and its not a buffet.
Pros:

Location. Its in old city and all important sightseeing places are within walking distance. Staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable.

Cons:

The details about property mentioned parking space but the property is in narrow lanes. I had to park my car 1.5 km away in a public parking area. The breakfast has 3-4 items only and you choose one for yourself. No buffet available. Toiletries in bathroom are substandard. We were given hand wash liquid in a shampoo bottle.

Leuke locatie in de blauwe stad, op loopafstand van het centrum. Rooftop bar met een mooi uitzicht op het fort en grote kamer

Het was een beetje liefdeloos. Het was niet smerig, maar ook niet echt schoon. Staf was niet echt hartelijk en ontbijt was matig. Prima voor één nacht, maar voor drie nachten echt te lang.

Great stay in the (quiet at night), centre of the Blue City.
Pros:

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. In the centre of Blue City, but so quiet at night. 10 minute walk from Mahangir Fort.
Was cold and night and staff even supplied us with a heater and more blankets.

Pros:

Beautifully maintained and decorated throughout. The staff really take care of their guests. Breakfast and rooftop restaurant was also good. Location in the heart of the blue city - a more quiet area than around the clock tower where a lot of the other hotels are located.

Cons:

We stayed in the middle of winter and found the rooms really cold and dark. The hotel did provide extra blankets to accommodate.

A pleasant stay in a comfortable and welcoming homestay with a great location and very kind staff.
Pros:

I really liked the location: convenient and quiet, about 20 minutes walking from the Old City and only 8 minutes by tuk-tuk. The homestay itself was clean, beautiful and very welcoming. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was also good.

Cons:

I would kindly suggest the owner take more care of the exterior of the homestay. There was some trash near the entrance, which gives a very different first impression compared to how nice the property actually is inside. Cleaning the outside area would really improve the overall perception.
Another small issue was the water heater: after shampooing, the hot water would run out quickly and turn cold before finishing rinsing. Also, providing a few extra towels in the room would be ideal.
