Cons:

At the end of our India vacation, we wanted to have some luxury, so we decided to stay here for 2 nights. Starting with the payment, which had to happen in advance via swift transfer and not via booking.com something felt strange concerning this accomodation. When we arrived, we were not welcomed properly, they had forgotten our booking. Ok, might happen in whatever delirium of Holi festival. After 30 minutes the manager arrived to explain exactly that. After 30 minutes they had prepared a room. Trying to shower we realized, the rainshower was not working, so we used the handshower. The cleanliness of the room was not exactly what one would expect in this price category: dust on the shelves and door frames, big stain on one of the blankets. In evening my wife had dinner - a real punch in the face of rajasthani culinary tradition (bland and sugary, no Ker Sangri) for exorbitant 1000 rupees.
At night time, when the staff left, water stopped working. We had to ask for water 2 times the first night, one time the second night. Next day more staff appeared. Totally untrained and overtaxed when serving breakfast, which was ok-ish. During the day, we discovered that we were housed below a building site, since there was construction going on in the haveli - not that the manager would have mentioned. The wifi didn't really work, and if it worked it was so slow that we switched it off after a while. Our second dinner - which was 4 chapati-sized aloo parotha, an oversalted curried buttermilk that we didn't order and an inedible sweet tomato dish which - you guess it - we didn't order was again worth 1000 rupees it seems.
Travelling India for 26 years now I want to make one point clear: If the room would have cost around 2500 rupees I would not have written this review, I would simply not stay there again. But as the room costs 7500 rupees, I have to state one thing clearly: There is absolutely nothing that justifies this price.

Art, Architecture, History and a comfortable stay rolled in one.
Pros:

truly a home away from home. authentic, home cooked rajasthani food and option to avail of a guide who will show you around Ramgarh and explain the history, architecture significance etc. in case planning to go to Mandawa, do ask the staff to help you with a guide there as well. excellent work done to restore the haveli.

Pros:

The stunning Haveli. Very quirky and full of beautiful murals and decorative details. Delicious vegetarian thalis. Helpful staff who organised a wonderful guide to show us some of the highlights of Ramgarh.

Amazing place, beautifully decorated. The staff is very kind and helpful and they organize tours in the village to discover all its hidden treasures. We would highly recommend this place !
