La habitación era muy grande y era una casa familiar en medio del campo, muy tranquila y acogedora. La familia era muy amable y te ayudaban en lo que necesitaras.

Nice location. Very clean and comfortable. Foods are delicious. Staff are kind and friendly. So comfortable location for relax mind and stress.

Verry nice place and peaceful the room was verry clean, the host were adorable they guide us with the place to visits and how to go there, it's possible to rent a bike also if you want to explore, the food was verry nice also

tout c'est très bien passé et la nourriture était très bonne, la dame qui m'a accueilli parle un anglais un peu difficile mais qui permet de discuter néanmoins. le lendemain elle m'a montré le chemin pour le bus et connaissait bien les horaires et les routes pour plus de confort pour le début de mon étape sur le pekoe trail. 35 minutes de bus pour rejoindre le trek et 45 roupies, autant dire très pratique.

The host is incredible! The nicest people we have met in the entire country! Food was incredible too and the position is very good, you have the train station at 2 minutes walk and train is the cheapest transport, you can go visit Ella city and others.
The host will draw you maps with everything you whant to visit, make cals for you, find out if the train is delayed or something. They have also a good scooter very cheap to rent and they will treat you like with most respect and positive attitude.
Good prices, nice garden, you have a beautiful view, rice fields, , banana and mango tree at your balcony, don't go to Ella for acomodations. You can take the train or bus or rent the scooter and you arrive there very fast and easy. Or you can go to a little walk and see the budist monastery, the Ella rock and incredible view, the eucalipt forest, tee plantation, beautiful butterflies, Waterfalls and finally in Ella city, a very turistic city, not really on my taste.
From Ella city you can go on foot to see the Nine Arches bridge and wait for around 20-30 minutes to see a train on it.
. And don't eat in the city, ask the family to cook for you, they make incredible food.
Ask about festivals, maybe you have the ocazion to see the carnaval în the street, is something you don't whant to miss it! You will be astonished by the beauty of it and the authenticity, costume, elefants, dancers, beautiful people.
You will whant to stay at least 4-5 days.

Kind and helpful hosts. Clean, comfortable and silent room. Delicious dinner and breakfast. The railway is close, but not disturbing at all.

The bed mattress was soft and bouncy. Good sleep. We took the room on the second floor. The owner was very hospitable.

Very nice owner, always helpful with tips and recommendations and the food was amazing for a very good price.

Breakfast provided at Orchid Villa was excellent, authentic Sri Lanka delicacy. We felt at home. Somi was very good host. He was very helpful and kind enough. Location was good gave feeling of typical village.

Lovely people and quiet place. They helped me when I was sick.

We ended Pekoe trail 14 close to Mantella and took a cab to this place, so for us it was excellent to have dinner as well as breakfast here (we were very tired, and a tuktuk would have costs is a lot since the location is not really close to Ella or Bandarawela. The dinner... Best rice and curry (chicken, potato and dhal) in Sri Lanka so far! Also the homemade Sri Lanka breakfast pancakes (with coconut, sugar, cinnamon and cardamom) were really good.

Your hospitality is very good. And a free environment has been created. Thank you very much for your service and friendliness.
