Very good
Pros:

Situated in an atmospheric little village up on the hill above Lago Maggiore. A great place to get away for a couple of days. Nice garden, you are likely to hear the soothing sound of birdsong. Friendly and accommodating staff. I felt very welcome. The small electrical heater was fully sufficient in late April.

Cons:

Getting here without a car on the weekend in the colder half of the year requires either good planning, or a good pair of shoes. There is a small connector bus up the hill, terminating a minute away from the hostel, but even in high season it runs with long intervals in the morning, and stops running so early that you'd have to leave Locarno by 18.30/18.45. I think more people would use it, if it ran more frequently. Better than no bus at all, though.
Wifi was only possible outside, and best near the closed dining hall downstairs.

Happy National day to Switzerland
Pros:

Clean place. The sightseeing to the lake is awesome we watched the fireworks from the area. The road is a bit narrow to the accommodation and back but well paved. The host is very kind and helpful. She works in a local store as well so you can get some snacks and beverage from the first hand.

Pros:

Nice view from the parking, free parking, coffee , croissants for breakfast. Table tennis. Quiet area. Nice landlady.

Cons:

Only one electrical socket in my room. Not close to supermarket.

If you just want a place to sleep the Airbnb is ok.
Pros:

The location was superb. It overlooked the town below with a lake in the background. Our host let us know there was free parking close to the Airbnb. She also met us when I called for directions to the Airbnb The beds were what was adverized. The host helped us eat at a local restaurant. We did not have a reservation but she talked to the manager and got us in. Check in and out was very simple.

Cons:

Our navigation system did not directus up the well paved road that led to the Airbnb but up a small side street. That is nobodys fault but the navigation system. It was a bit warm at night. The pathway to the Airbnb was up a steep walkway.
