I stayed here for one week as a couple, and after more than 20 stays over the years, Umah Nik Pekito continues to be a true diamond in my travel plans. When you return to the same place mote than 20 times over the years, it stops being just accommodation, it becomes a place you trust and feel at home!

Located about 6 km north of Ubud, this place sits in the middle of real working rice fields, far away from the crowded tourist terraces you see everywhere on social media. Here you find quiet, nature, and the real Bali atmosphere.
The rooms are very spacious (around 50 m²), extremely clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. You wake up with birds, fresh air, and the peaceful feeling that Bali once promised traveler's.

What makes this place truly special is the people. At Umah Nik Pekito the answer is almost always “Yes, we can arrange it.”
Transport, scooter rental, food, help with plans, or small personal requests; everything is possible, and always with a smile. And the food… I have eaten the best tempeh of my life here. During this stay they even showed me how it is prepared; something I will take home with me as a wonderful memory.

After more than 20 visits, I can honestly say this place feels like a safe home in Bali. It has a rare combination: the charm of nostalgic “tempo dulu” Bali together with modern comfort like fast and reliable internet.

This is the kind of place long-stay traveler's and digital nomads dream of discovering.
Honestly, writing such a good review feels almost dangerous; because places like this are the kind you want to keep secret for yourself.

If I were a full-time global nomad, I could easily imagine living here for 12 months.
Highly recommended. And yes; I will absolutely come back again.

Wake up with the birds, see the sunlight in the ricefields, or even appreciate the rain....amazing experience to relax. The laundry service it was also great and the host is very kind !

Die Familie war sehr freundlich und hat uns geholfen, als wir ein paar Probleme mit dem Magen hatten, gute Empfehlungen gegeben, schöne Zimmer mit hoher Decke und für Indonesien ein sehr gutes Bad. Rollervermietung für 100k pro Tag ohne Probleme.

Die Unterkunft war ein bisschen abgelegen vom Stadt-Trubel von Ubud. Dort hätten wir es nicht wirklich lange ausgehalten mit dem täglichen Verkehrschaos.
Wir haben wirklich jeden Tag uns das Frühstück noch geholt und die Ruhe genossen. Die Gastgeberin war wirklich sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir uns konnten vor Ort auch einen Roller ausleihen, was es für uns leicht gemacht hat von A nach B zu kommen.

Wir haben auch jeden Tag Geckos gesehen :-) darüber haben uns ehrlich gesagt immer gefreut!

Great place, Anni and Kadek went above and beyond to ensure our stay was awesome! The place is fantastic great value for money, few km away from Ubud but moving around is easy with a grab.

It’s a very quiete place, away from the rush of the Ubud center. Has a beautiful rice field view in the wood house. We love the place and the people here. Everybody is too kind, and always smiling. The best part is that there are few rooms and plenty of space for guests. We want to visit this place again.

The family owning this place is very welcoming and very nice. I stayed 4 nights and every day someone cleaned the room, they really take care of the space. And the location is ideal to be close to Ubud but yet in a very calm and peacefull place. Thank you again.
