Cleanliness. The room, pool, shared kitchen and surroundings are clean. The owner is friendly. Less noise, I slept well during my stay. It's worth it.

I like the fact that it’s located in the centre of Canggu. With a friendly host.
I think the price and the room is a fair. But it’s different what’s being advertised on this page. Room that’s being advertised exists in the guesthouse but not exactly the ones that you believe you paid for. If you want to have the room then will be an additional charge.
What I liked most about this accommodation was definitely the location — it’s perfect if you want to stay in the heart of Bali’s tourist area (Canggu). The rooms are clean and basic, but for this area, they’re some of the best-priced you’ll find. The owner is very kind and always happy to help with any questions.
During my stay, it was wonderfully quiet with no surrounding noise, which made it extra relaxing. The air conditioning works well, and the pool is great for cooling off. While the place looks a bit dated, everything is clean and well-maintained.
Just a small heads-up: the cheapest rooms only have cold water showers, so if you prefer hot showers, this might be a drawback. I’m not sure about the water situation in the other room types. Occasionally, there was also a slight sewage smell in the bathroom, so just keep the bathroom door closed.
The check in process was very easy. The host Panda is lovely and chatted to us for a while. He offers a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks at a very reasonable price. We booked the standard room and it is very basic but worth what you pay. My friend booked the deluxe room which was also a reasonable price but definitely gives a more luxurious feeling. It is good to have the option!
Like I said, the rooms were good value for money. I would say that the floor could have been cleaner but the bed sheets were clean and to me that was the most important thing. The only other downside is that the bathroom could smell bad after we had run water. I don’t really think this is the fault of the host, just more due to drainage system in the area. Despite these things, I would still recommend Plutos House and would stay there again. However, I would probably opt for the room upgrade.
Good location and the owner is friendly and chatty
The location was great, the pool was a nice extra too for the price. The bed was comfy enough and clean enough. Staff are lovely, kind and very helpful. Floor was clean, outside the rooms is clean. Nice drinks available for good price.
Not enough kitchenware and could do with some oil to cook with. If you are staying in the basic rooms the water is cold and wouldn’t recommended you using it unless you have a shower filter yourself (ours was black after). I don’t like having the toilet so close to the shower and the floor is not nice in there. The towels didn’t smell great but I think they were clean. There was no hand soap or anything. The tea towels in the kitchen were really dirty. Only 1/2 stovetop works. For the price it’s not bad but think people should be aware of the above.
