Overall good experience
Cons:

The property was good overall, except for the water supply issue in the mornings. We had to contact the person in charge several times to get water in the toilets, which was quite inconvenient. Apart from this issue, the stay was comfortable.

Fantastic stay. Would love to visit again.
Pros:

The stay was absolutely wonderful and enjoyable. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We really relished the fresh and home cooked meals that were served as breakfast and dinner. The variety and the taste was awesome.

Cons:

There were lot of insects in the bathroom. It could be due to the weather or the surrounding greenery. If possible, something should be done about it

Good team service
Pros:

Antony and team provided excellent in-room home cooked food. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were available. Local cabs could be easily arranged at the property for sightseeing and also for airport transfer. The property is in the middle of a beautiful coffee plantation.

Cons:

Due to the remote location there was no phone connectivity within the room and the wi-fi signal was unstable during the last day of our stay. Upgrading the furntiure and interiors, especially the washroom would make the property more attractive for future visitors.

If you're looking for a welcoming place with great food looks no further.
Pros:

Coming from the UK on our first trip to India, Royal Forest genuinely everything we could have asked for. The location is truly stunning, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food just didn't stop coming out.

As a homestay, the families made us welcome, and the other guests were so pleasant.

Cons:

The only thing to be aware of it's quite remote, we knew this and it was great but it'll take a little while to get here from Madikeri. The room is fantastic only, but again this works just fine as it's so far up in the hills.

Food was good, ambience was nice.

Cons:

The property is not worth of the charges they make. I paid 7k per night and they don't even have a flat tv, ac. It is very old property and short of charging sockets. Most of the time geisure was not working. Overall dissatisfied.
