We actually stayed next door at Jungle Lodge, which belongs to the same family. Champa, who owns Jungle Lodge, was a fantastic hostess and great cook. Green House took us on safari and that was very good. Saw 2 leopards, elephants and lots of birds. Really lovely people.

We had a short but lovely stay here. Santha and his family were so welcoming, making us tea and breakfast for our safari, which they can take you on themselves. The room is spacious and you can hear the sound of nature around you. We found all the locals in Kirindi to be especially warm and friendly.

Santha was very kind, I booked last minute and the room was made up when I got there. It was a big space with no AC but a large fan. The location is near some other accommodations, all within walking distance to a few restaurants and stores. There was a nice balcony and Santha took me and a few others from another hostel on the safari the next day.

Una piacevolissima guest house a conduzione familiare . Appena arrivata Santha mi ha accolta con un buonissimo fresh fruit juice ! La stanza bellissima nuova e molto confortevole con il più bel bagno che abbia mai avuto durante il mio soggiorno ! Santha organizzerà per voi qualsiasi cosa gli chiediate perché è una persona veramente disponibile

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Santa,
La chambre est très spacieuse et confortable,
C’était très propre et nous avons été super bien accueilli.
La gentillesse de Santa et son fils ont rendu notre séjour vraiment agréable.
Santa est également guide pour le Park de Yala et il nous a fait passé une superbe journée safari.
Je vous recommande de passer par lui pour le safari vous ne serez pas déçu !

In a quiet area with good access to Yala National Park block one. Santha the owner has a jeep and does great value safaris with a delicious breakfast and lunch thrown in. This would be a key reason to book this accommodation. The staff are helpful and the room is simple but clean. Santha’s sister down the food does delicious food.

Nice breakfast, nice host

La familia que nos alojó fueron muy amables. Nos prepararon un desayuno local muy rico! La habitación era muy grande y espaciosa.

We spent two nights there, we rent 2 rooms who means we had the entiere house for us, just next to their house, the rooms was clean and spacious.
The house is exeptionally located, near yala N.P.
The friendly owner prupose safari, he's a passionate worker, he'll take all time you need to capture some best moment of your life in yala. And he knows perfecty his job.
I strongly recommand you to go there !!

Santha est un propriétaire remarquable, chambre très propre avec fan et petite terrasse privative. Le petit déjeuner inclus est très bon. Omelette fruit toast confiture et beurre. Vous pouvez aussi déjeuner et dîner. Santha propose de vous emmener faire le safari avec sa propre jeep. On l’a fait et on ne le regrette pas. Santha essaie de ne pas suivre les autres jeeps et s’applique à rechercher les animaux. Nous avons vu éléphants, chacals, aigles, crocodiles….et le fameux léopard !!!! Toujours bienveillant et aux petits soins pour vous faire plaisir ! Je recommande vivement

The place is clean,comfortable with spacious room,terrace and nice bathroom. The family was very nice and helpful. We had the Safari experience with Santha and it was great,we really enjoyed it. The breakfast was typical sri lankan - very tasty.

saubere Unterkunft mit sauberer Wäsche. Während unserem dreitätigen Aufenthalt wurde sogar unser Bett frisch angezogen und die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Leckeres Frühstück. Sehr freundliche Gastgebende und ptaktisches Angebot die Safari direkt mit dem Gastgeber zu machen.

Very good value for money

Santha and his family were so lovely and warm. The location is great for safari and checking out some of the beautiful beaches nearby that are basically empty. We did the safari with Santha too and loved it. We are both ecologists and Santha was very knowledgable about all the animals and also knew all the tricks for getting the best out of the safari without the 4am start! Highly recommend

Santha and his family were amazing hosts, and he did a great job of taking us around Yala on safari. He has been a guide for over 20 years so has so much knowledge of the park and animals and where to find them.

I had booked 1 room at Green House Yala however when we reached Mr. Santha informed me that the previous guest extended their stay so there was no rooms available at his Homestay however he managed to accommodate me at his sisters homestay which was equally good at the same price.

His sister als was very friendly and down to earth. She made lovely breakfast for me - Fruit plate, string hoppers, black coffee, bananas, potatoes stew and King Coconut water. Breakfast was part of the package

She made dinner on request for me - Chicken gravy, rice, 4 varieties of vegetables, papdam etc it was equally tasty and I requested to make it non spicy for me.

Overall I loved my stay at her Homestay known as Vihaga Regency Yala.
