Le chaleureux accueil et de la disponibilte de nos hôtes, qui nous ont réservés nos excursions..
C'est un très bel endroit. Le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Alles was perfect. De ontvangst, de kamer, de douche en het ontbijt.
Ook de gastheer en zijn personeel zijn top.

We had a wonderful stay at Green View. The hotel is a tranquil oasis in the town. The large balconies open on to a lush garden. We saw the shy black langur monkeys playing in the trees from our room which was amazing! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is lovely. The best thing about the hotel though is the owner and staff. The owner was so helpful even before we arrived. He organised a hiking trip, boating, a kathakali dancing show, Ayurvedic treatments and a cookery class. He organised everything without charging any commission. He is such a kind and enthusiastic person and really takes a joy in looking after his guests. Highly recommend this hotel!

I am late leaving this review which I apologies for. Our stay during the new year 2025/2026 period couldnt have been any better. From the moment of booking, Mr Suresh gave me contact details to arrange national park tickets to ensure that my time there would run smoothly. This was all sorted out very quickly and convieniently.
We received a warm welcome at the point of arrival, Mr Suresh ensuring we were comfortable, made us nice indian tea and we were given a beautiful room overlooking the garden and wilderness beyond. The rooms was very clean, as was the bathroom. I loved the balcony with swing chair, I could have sat there all day to watch the numerous visiting birds and monkeys. Easy walking distance to park entrance and town centre and resturants etc.
It was truly one of the best stays of our entire 3 week stay in Kerala and we will have fond memories forever of this trip. I wish to personally thank Mr Suresh and his staff for creating such a wonderful space and making our trip so special.

The host was Very welcoming facilitating. The location was comfortable and ideally located. We could relax by hearing wildlife over night, We even had the chance to see black monkeys in the neighboring trees from our balcony (we have not been as lucky during the trek in the reserve where we could only see some in the far distance.

Very clean rooms, great shower and amazing balcony with comfortable chains and beautiful view of serene gardens . We even saw the black monkeys close up from our balcony in the afternoon

Es war alles perfekt, sauberes Zimmer, gute Matratze, warme Dusche, ruhige und trotzdem zentrale Lage. Man erreicht den Park und alles, was man hier braucht gut zu Fuß. Aber am schönsten ist der Balkon mit Blick in die Baumkronen, in denen man morgens seltene Vögel entdecken kann.
Der Gastgeber und sein Team sind zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Auf Wunsch bekommt man ein super leckeres Frühstück.
Ich habe mich als Alleinreisende hier wohl und sicher gefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Un bon accueil, le jardin, le balcon, l emplacement et la propreté

Green View is close to the centre of town and just 10 minutes walk from the park entrance. However, it is peaceful and quiet, with a lovely garden to watch the birds, and where breakfast was served.
The room was large, bed huge and comfortable, with masses of hot water.
Verandah with comfortable chairs- uncommon in homestays.
The guy in charge (sorry, I’ve forgotten his name) was really helpful.
Breakfast was enormous, both Indian and European, and really good- for just 250 rupees.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber (Besitzer und Staff). Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Saubere Zimmer, gepflegte Umgebung. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Very clean and owner is very good humanbeing..

L’établissement est propre il est accessible depuis la gare de bus à pied et il est au cœur du thekaddy. De plus le propriétaire est géniale il m’a conseillé sur les activités à faire ici j’ai peu faire un trek à pied d’une journée dans le parc national et voir 3 éléphants et un éléphanteau. Le soir j’ai pu faire un cours de cuisine typique du sud de l’Inde. Je vous recommande cette hôtel

Très belle chambre avec balcon donnant sur un petit jardin.
Le logement est propre et calme, et l'hôte est vraiment le meilleur que nous ayons pu rencontrer jusqu'à présent.
Il est très gentil, très accueillant et donne beaucoup de bons conseils notamment pour la réserve.
Vous pouvez également profiter d'un rooftop spacieux.
De plus, le logement est très bien situé (proche de la réserve et de l'arrêt de bus)

We really enjoyed our stay at Green View. It is in a great location, very close to the Periyar booking office and park entrance. There are good restaurants very close too. Even though Green View is centrally located, it is very quiet so we slept well. Our room had a lovely big balcony that faced out onto the garden, very peaceful. The host, Suresh, was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed good breakfasts each morning. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Thekkady.
