The host was really nice (friendly, interested, helpful), the rooms were excellent, the community area and the garden very relaxing! It was one of our best experiences in India! Thank you so much!

Very warm welcome by the owner, he also helped us book the next hotel in Munnar and arranged a discount for us. The room is simple but sufficient, and clean. The balcony was really lovely - watching the birds and monkeys in the trees was just amazing. I also appreciated the location- it's on a more quite road but close to the national park. Kumily/Thekkady is not very big - 10 min walking will give you a lot of restaurants and little shop options! Also ask for the cooking class with Remesh, it was a delight!

Green View is an amazing place to stay The rooms are big and clean The balconies look on to a lovely garden where you can watch the monkeys play and spot lots of different birds Suresh and his team are wonderful and immediately make you feel welcome!! Das Zimmer war gross, sauber und es gab einen schönen Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten.
Der Besitzer ist ausserordentlich nett und hat einem auch Tipps gegeben und immer wieder nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist.
Die Lage ist super, ruhig, aber trotzdem sehr nahe an allem.

Das Zimmer ist geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sauber, die Kommunikation mit der Unterkunft war leicht und freundlich.
Vom Balkon auf der Rückseite hatte ich einen schönen Blick über eine Art Garten des benachbarten Hotels mit flachen Bungalowbauten.
Fußläufig gibt es verschiedene Restaurants und Cafes.

Hôte très accueillant et soucieux que nous passions un bon séjour. Il nous à donné de précieux conseils pour choisir nos activités dans la réserve et à côté.
L'hôtel est bien situé, les chambres sont spacieuses, propres avec une bonne literie (lits King size) et un balcon avec vue sur le jardin très agréable.
Nous avons passé 2 nuits très agréables.
Il n'y a pas de climatisation mais heureusement la température extérieur redescend la nuit.

Très bien situé. Le patron est au petit soin et fait tout pour que notre séjour se passe mieux.

Die Unterkunft ist unfassbar schön, sehr gut gelegen, sehr idyllisch und der Gastgeber unglaublich hilfsbereit und nett! Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und die Kommunikation ist wunderbar.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer, die Lage ist sehr gut und der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies. Zimmer in den Garten orientiert und daher ruhig.
Das Frühstück war gut, am ersten Abend wurde mir ein Abendessen angeboten, da ich vor der Anreise eine Magenverstimmung hatte und nicht auswärts essen wollte Es schmeckte ausgezeichnet und war super verträglich. Schöne allgemeine Terrasse, schöner geräumiger privater Balkon beim Zimmer, Wasserkocher am Zimmer, Matratze war etwas weich aber sah ganz neu aus.,
Duschen waren angenehm heiß, super Aufenthalt,

The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. The host was very nice. It felt like a homestay as we ate at the household table and their children were playing in the other rooms. Very Sweet.

Whats not to like about this lovely place! The host went out of his way to make my stay wonderful with his friendliness and caring attitude and his 2 lovely friendly lady staff members too. He organised all trips & transport for me there I didn't have to do anything except enjoy myself. The room is the biggest I've stayed in in India offering everything you need plus super fast WiFi & piping hot water! The balcony overlooks the peaceful beautiful garden. Everything is super clean and the gorgeous garden with so many gorgeous colourful plants is delightful. It's a little bit of paradise sitting outside in the garden surrounded by lush vegetation and colourful birds to eat your breakfast. . The breakfast is of your choice offering everything you wish for and after this banquet don't be surprised about putting on a lot if weight! A few meters away is Grandma's Cafe/Restaurant which is in my opinion the best place in town to eat your evening meal. I highly recommend anyone staying at Green View -, there are no negatives just all positives. Thank you for such a wonderful stay - I'll be back!

Anandu is a wonderful host. Sonya and Maria are very kind and friendly staff. Suresh knows lots about birds and is enthusiastic to share his experience.
This is a lovely place, rooms facing gardens with monkeys in trees. Anandu had all the information and I was really grateful for his tip to get the kottayam ferry to alleppy. The rooms were clean, the balcony relaxing and the breakfast lovely.

Suresh is a fantastic host. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. He helped us organise our activities and plan onward transport. The breakfast was ample and delicious, and in a beautiful garden setting. It was also a delight to sit on the balcony and see wildlife in the garden.

Hôtel très bien situé avec un accueil particulièrement chaleureux. À notre arrivée, nous avons même partagé un délicieux fish curry avec le propriétaire et sa femme dans leur cuisine, un moment très convivial qui donne tout de suite le ton.
L’hôtel se trouve à environ 10 minutes à pied de l’entrée du parc de Periyar, mais aussi à une dizaine de minutes de la rue principale de Kumily, ce qui est très pratique.
La chambre était très propre et confortable, avec une douche chaude et un petit balcon donnant sur un jardin luxuriant où l’on peut prendre le petit-déjeuner.
Le petit-déjeuner est très bon, avec une partie indienne et une autre plus continentale.
Le propriétaire est adorable : il nous a proposé de laisser nos bagages pendant notre randonnée dans la réserve de Periyar et nous a même permis de prendre une douche à notre retour de trek, ce qui était vraiment appréciable après une nuit dans la réserve.
Un séjour vraiment très agréable, dans un hôtel parfaitement situé. Nous recommandons cet endroit à 100 % !

Unglaublich freundlicher Gastgeber! Wir haben unseren Besuch sehr genossen und würden es immer weiter empfehlen. Ruhigere Lage, mit direktem Blick ins Grüne. In den Bäumen toben manchmal Affen. Von hier aus ist der Nationalpark in ca 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und bis auf eine winzige Stelle im Bad schimmelfrei. Großer Balkon lädt zum Verweilen ein. Immer wieder gerne!
