With the black monkey!
Pros:

We spent just one night at the Green View, though we would have loved to stay longer. It’s a two-star hotel, but it rivals any three-star establishment... It features a lovely garden. It is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are at your service no matter what. The breakfast was impeccable, offering both Indian and European options. And then there’s the owner, Suresh—a man of impeccable courtesy and manners. The highlight? We were lucky enough to see three black monkeys in his garden. Memorable! The hotel is perfectly located for activities in Thekkady. We highly recommend it. Thanks, Suresh!

Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Green View. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and the room was lovely with a great balcony to relax on - we even spotted some monkeys from the balcony! It was a great location, very near to the reserve and lots of restaurants.

The hosts helped us to book activities and helped out with transport too. Would absolutely recommend Green View

Peaceful and Convenient Stay in Thekkady with Excellent Hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful property in Thekkady. One of the biggest advantages of the location is its convenience — shops, restaurants, and cultural event centers are all nearby and easily walkable, making it very easy to explore the area without any hassle.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. The staff members were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help whenever needed. A special mention to the owner, Suresh, who was extremely supportive throughout our stay. He helped us arrange show tickets and also shared a lot of useful information and local tips about the place, which made our trip even better.

Another highlight of the property is the beautiful green open space filled with plants and trees, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Thekkady.

Wonderful and comfortable stay with a lovely host.

Rooms were clean and spacious with a big balcony, the host was very polite and helpful. He gave us the right advice and even got us discounts on different activities. We had a wonderful experience and would love to visit this property again. 10/10
