Very disappointing and uncomfortable
Pros:

The location was great

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable and hard. Very thin mats to sleep on making out hips sore. I had booked a room via booking.com which clearly indicated A/C but we were told on arrival that A/C was extra. This situation resulted in an argument as i was not happy to pay extra when it was meant to be included. The owner (Alex) then let us have the A/C controller so we could use it but only after having had an argument. Also one day we came back to the homestay from a day out and found Alex inside our room which was very unnerving. He said we had left the A/C on but we absolutely didn't as I had checked this on our way out. This all made us both upset and confused as to why he was in our room. I would not stay here again.

Excellent choice while staying in Fort Cochin for the budget traveler.
Pros:

Simple rooms that are spotlessly clean with a warm and welcoming owner. Fast WiFi allowed me to work from the picturesque shared balcony overlooking a cricket field.
The hotel is perfectly situated and is a quick stroll from shops and restaurants. Filtered water is provided gratis. Laundry and breakfast service offered at a nominal charge. Ask for a balcony room, although my room was perfectly adequate with screened windows and an efficient fan.

Lovely stay with very welcoming hosts
Pros:

The rooms are located in a simple and charming family house (guest rooms are just upstairs with a different entrance for more privacy).

It is simple and has everything one need to spend a good stay. It is also ideally located in Fort Cochin next to the Kathakali Center (great shows to see there) and in a quite alley.

What made me give a 10 out of 10 mark is the warm welcome and the kindness of the hosts. It was exceptional and made me feel very well and welcome. They care about their guests and that will make me remember my lovely stay for good !

Such a welcoming and nice guesthouse and family. Everything is very clean and tidy and we really enjoy staying there.
