Pros:

Der Gastgeber Alex ist an Herzlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen. Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt dort. Alex gab mir jede Menge hilfreiche Tipps z.B: wo es die besten Restaurants gibt, der beste Spice Shop oder die besten Wege um von Cochin weiter zu reisen.

Cons:

Die Matratze ist etwas hart.

Very disappointing and uncomfortable
Pros:

The location was great

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable and hard. Very thin mats to sleep on making out hips sore. I had booked a room via booking.com which clearly indicated A/C but we were told on arrival that A/C was extra. This situation resulted in an argument as i was not happy to pay extra when it was meant to be included. The owner (Alex) then let us have the A/C controller so we could use it but only after having had an argument. Also one day we came back to the homestay from a day out and found Alex inside our room which was very unnerving. He said we had left the A/C on but we absolutely didn't as I had checked this on our way out. This all made us both upset and confused as to why he was in our room. I would not stay here again.

Excellent choice while staying in Fort Cochin for the budget traveler.
Pros:

Simple rooms that are spotlessly clean with a warm and welcoming owner. Fast WiFi allowed me to work from the picturesque shared balcony overlooking a cricket field.
The hotel is perfectly situated and is a quick stroll from shops and restaurants. Filtered water is provided gratis. Laundry and breakfast service offered at a nominal charge. Ask for a balcony room, although my room was perfectly adequate with screened windows and an efficient fan.
