Just wrapped up a solo trip and honestly, this hotel made the experience so much better. Traveling alone can feel a bit overwhelming at times, but from the moment I checked in, I felt completely comfortable and safe.

The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, whether it was food spots, transport, or just places to explore without going too far. The staff were genuinely helpful and respectful, which makes a huge difference when you’re on your own.

My room was clean, cozy, and exactly what I needed after long days out. Reliable Wi-Fi, smooth check-in, and a peaceful vibe made it easy to relax and recharge.

What I appreciated most was the balance—privacy when I wanted to unwind, but also a welcoming atmosphere that didn’t make me feel isolated.

It is a homestay with beautiful and peaceful surroundings, The room was clean and new, with all necessary amenities. All was perfect and value for money and for solo female traveller like me, they made my stay special and all was easy. The owner was kind and humble even helped me with tickets for Taj mahal.

The Orchid Villa Homestay near the Taj Mahal is a total gem. It’s in a super quiet area with really nice surroundings, so the stay feels peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are clean, comfy, and give a true homestay feel.
The hosts are warm and helpful, and the homemade food is seriously perfect. Fresh, tasty, and wholesome.
Overall, a calm, clean, and comforting stay just minutes from the Taj. Fully recommended.

The location is close to Taj Mahal which only took us 15 to 20 minutes walking. It is not at the main street so at night we could sleep very well without noises.
The staff is kind and always wants to help you.

Wonderful place, very close to the west entrance of the Taj Mahal, about a 20-minute walk. If you buy your ticket online, you can pick up the foot protector before the entrance gate, free of charge, upon presenting your ticket, and you even get a bottle of water. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable, and located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The breakfast, available for an extra fee, is wonderful. Mr. Arif is a great host, very helpful, friendly, and ready to help with tourist tips.

GOAT host, opened the door in the middle of the night, prepared excellent breakfast, helped us efficiently plan our visit and arranged all the logistics. Everything else about the room itself fully met the expectations. Good price too.

As a solo female traveler who rarely stays in homestays or private rooms, this experience exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with exceptional attention to detail. The owner was very attentive, understanding the needs of international travelers, and arranged everything from pickups to safe city transport. He also helped to plan and organise day trips to nearby places.

The food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, all at a very fair price. The location was perfect, with the Taj Mahal within walking distance, making it safe and convenient even for a solo traveler to go on foot early morning. The description was accurate, and all amenities (air conditioning, hot water with good water pressure etc.) were provided and functioned well.

The neighborhood was safe and walkable, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and ATMs. Plus, it was within walking distance of the Taj Mahal and the Taj Nature Walk, making sightseeing incredibly convenient.

The best part of my stay was the hospitality of the hotel owner. He was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with everything—from arranging transportation to the Taj Mahal and a tour of Agra Fort to helping me get souvenirs at fair prices. He even helped me with last-minute plans for the Holi festival, organized an airport pickup from Delhi after I missed my flight, and ensured I had snacks and water for my early morning departure. His prices were very reasonable, and he coordinated every detail seamlessly.

Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay in Agra, with a friendly and attentive host who truly cares about his guests. I would absolutely stay here again!
