The overall vibe was still nice, and out of the available options (we booked last-minute), this place offered the best location. We liked the terrace in front of the room as well.
The bathroom stinks like sewage really bad, making it impossible to stay in the room without constant AC and airing out the room daily (which introduces mosquitoes etc.). The room was a bit rusty compared to other places we stayed at around Bali and Java (including some basic, cheaper homestays), but it was still okay.
It was difficult to communicate with staff. For example, I asked for fresh bath towels, but they brought me the pool towel. Even though they initially asked, "pool towel?" and I clearly replied, "no, bath towel." They also don't seem to have a basic medical kit, as I asked once for a thermometer and there was none - but perhaps this is normal in Indonesia...
This was also the only place during my whole Indonesia trip that didn't provide daily complimentary water...

Personal amable, habitació molt correcte, el bany mes antic pero correcte. Tens accés a la platja a 5m. Alllà mateix ens van llogar motos que es el que va millor per moures per alla, la zona de jardi i piscina molt agradable

I stayed at Bukit Vista for my first few nights in Bali and had a very comfortable experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially considering my arrival was quite late, around 9 pm. The check-in process was smooth, and they made me feel very welcome from the start.
The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Bukit Vista to other travelers looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Bali.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the walls are quite thin, so your sleep quality may depend a bit on how quiet your neighbors are.

The pool and the garden
Many things were bad actually.
The 1st is the unwelcoming behavior of the staff. Very rare in bali but they were quite unfriendly and not speaking English
Then the location, a bit far from everything and in the middle of nowhere
Also, no food service or breakfast there and nothing around. So if you need food, you have to grab the grab and do at least 5 min trip by scooter.
We couldn’t pay the water and beers we took from the fridge by card. They accept only cash but they never told us, it’s not written anywhere and they didn’t want to find a solution (we were almost late to the airport because of that)
The bed was not very comfy and doing noise
They didn’t clean the room everyday and even the cleaning was actually just doing the bed. Not replacing towels or cleaning the bathroom. Nothing
