Family-friendly homestay in Muar great for kids
Pros:

Room was big, toilet was big. Perfect for our family of 5. Enough blankets and towels provided. Also liked that many hangers were provided in the room. With 2 kids in tow, the pool was of course the highlight and MVP of the stay. There was also a small kids' playroom with a slide, which my kids love. I like the private and safe parking within gate compounds too.

Cons:

Another family was living in the other rooms downstairs and the kids were quite noisy when watching TV in the common living room. We have kids too so we understand that kids can be rowdy. Suggest to have TV for each room to provide more privacy.

Cons:

The house was quite dirty...it was not sweeped. The bathroom in my room was dirty too. No toothpaste. There was no wardrobe in the room. The table provided was very small for a 3pax room. Had to keep all the bag on the floor. The aircond in the room wasnt chill enough for the hot weather. There was some unpleasant smell in the bathroom. In the room, at the grill behind the curtain was very dusty and dirty, we wanted to open the window but decided to close it back.The pillows in the room was also very thin. There was tiny bugs on the ceiling of the room and bathroom. Also, we were not aware that the living room aircond can be used only if you rent the whole house. There was so much of ants near the kitchen sink. Overall, it did not meet our expectation.
