We had a lovely two days at Margaret’s place. She made us feel welcome from the word go.
Pros:

We enjoyed staying with Margaret in her homely setup. We had nice chats around her table over a cup of tea. She gave us some nice info on places to visit.

Cons:

Not her fault but there was one guest behaving badly. But she sorted him out !

Hillgrove House is the best!
Pros:

Margaret’s Hillgrove House was the best base for my explorations of Boyle and the county! Warm and welcoming! The bed was just right. I spent a few hours just reading in my easy chair by my window. Breakfast was lovely. The garden was so pretty in the evening when I returned. Everything is spotless.

Cons:

I can think of nothing. Location was great. Everything was spotless and comfortable!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to Asian travelers.
Pros:

Even if the house was nice and cozy, it was impossible to like it.

Cons:

It was the worst accommodation experience I’ve had.
The problem wasn’t the facilities but the host’s lack of hospitality.
I’m not sure if it was because we’re Asian, but it really felt like we were treated differently.
Most reviews said the host was warm and friendly, but we didn’t feel that at all.

The bathroom wasn’t inside the room. It was clean and right across the hall, but constantly going in and out was really inconvenient.
