Pros:

We had a lovely stay! The host was very kind and always welcomed us with a warm smile. The view is amazing and the beach is calm and perfect for relaxing.

We visited over the weekend and enjoyed the live music at the nearby bars, along with great cocktails and food. The host also prepared a takeaway breakfast and delicious coffee for us, which was a really nice touch.

Great value for money! 🌞🌊☕

Pros:

Die Lage ist traumhaft: ruhig und direkt am Strand. Gleichzeitig ist man schnell mit dem Tuktuk in Fort Galle. Die Familie ist ausgesprochen nett und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir würden immer wieder dorthin.

Highly recommend!
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was delicious, and the sea view was absolutely beautiful. Being directly at the beach made it even more special. There were plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby, and this place also had amazing kottu. Highly recommend!

Pros:

Als Alleinreisende hab ich mich sehr willkommen gefühlt und auch sicher. Der schöne Balkon mit Blick durch die Palmen aufs Meer auf dem gemütlichen Stühlen, war einfach super schön.
Ganze Familie ist sehr, sehr nett und herzlich besonders. Die Frauen in der Familie sind super lieb, lustig und sehr nett! schön war auch, dass man so ein bisschen raus aus dem Touristen grummel in Galle ist . Das Frühstück war sensationell.

Cons:

Ein echter Platz an einem schönen Strand .🏝️

Lokalny klimat - nie dla wszystkich ale jak ktoś lubi to bardzo polecamy.
Pros:

Lokalizacja świetna. Bramka i jesteś na szerokiej piaszczystej plaży z miejscem do kąpieli. Obok pyszna restauracja. Gospodarze bardzo serdeczni i pomocni. Ogromnym plusem jest możliwość zamówienia domowego jedzenia i napojów. Dla tych którzy chcą poczuć lokalny klimat - miejsce super. Blisko Galle - tuk tuk 500 rupii do centrum miasta.

Cons:

W mniejszym pokoju brak okna co doskwierało mocno bo w nocy nie było świeżego powietrza. Jeśli ktoś nie chciał spać przy włączonej całą noc klimatyzacji było bardzo gorąco.

Super guesthouse, au pied de la mer. Très paisible, et l'hote était très gentille. Le petit déjeuné est top!
Proche du fort de galle et c'est un super rapport qualité prix. L'emplacement permet de profiter du cadre superbe au pied de l'eau , en étant proche du fort.
Je recommande ++

Cons:

L'eau chaude est restreinte ,mais c'est souvent le cas dans les guesthouse au Sri lanka

Pros:

It is a quiet place on the beach with a lovely family. I really liked my room which was very spacious and comfortable at this point of my traveling and did not mind too much having to take a transport to go swimming to Hikkaduwa beach, 20 m by bus. They have sunbeds on the beach available anytime which is very enjoyable and 2 restaurants. Almost a private beach. I really felt I could rest there and it was very welcome. I stayed 8 nights. Thank you!

2 night stay just outside Galle
Pros:

Lovely balcony with a great sea breeze.
Amami welcomed us ( her mum currently unwell), served us drinks and breakfast, always happy and smiling and willing to help with transport queries or any questions.
Quiet at night and slept with the windows open, no mosquito net over the bed but didn't get one bite.
Cost 350-400 SLR for tuk tuk to Galle fort so really easy.

Cons:

A curtain on the side window would help with the early morning sunshine

Muy agradable si quieres apartarte del bullicio del centro
Pros:

Habitación muy amplia con vistas al mar, desayuno abundante y muy rico.
Tiene una terraza grande donde es muy agradable escuchar las olas del mar de noche y de día.
La familia es muy amable y nos ayudó mucho.
La cama es muy cómoda.

Cons:

El aire acondicionado tiene coste extra y no lo indican en el anuncio.
Está un poco apartado del centro pero se llega fácilmente en tuk tuk.

Authentische, faniliär geführte Unterkunft
Pros:

Sehr nette, faniliär geführte Unterkunft! Tolle Lage, direkt am Meer. Wir waren 2 Nächte dort und hatten sowohl das Frühstück, als auch Abendessen in der Unterkunft. Beides lecker und von der Vermieterin zubereitet. Mit dem TukTuk fährt man ca. 10 Minuten bis nach Galle/ Innenstadt. Die älteste Tochter hat uns noch gute Tipps für die Reise gegeben. Wir konnten die Klimaanlage zubuchen. Das war gut. Nachts mussten wir sie jedoch ausschalten, da sie direkt aufs Bett gerichtet ist und uns damit nicht angenehm. Mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen, war aber kein Problem. Authentische Unterkunft und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt!

Cons:

Ein Fenster des Zimmers hat keinen Vorhang.. Somit wird es früh hell.

Pros:

We only stayed one night, but it was enough to see how truly kind and welcoming this family is – especially their lovely young daughter, Amami. For us Italians, her name was already a sweet surprise, but her perfect English, warmth, and engaging conversations made it even more special. They treated us to fresh juices and a delicious breakfast, and the highlight was the seaside terrace with loungers and a breathtaking view. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area

Pros:

I enjoyed every minute with Chatu, Amami and the rest of the family. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is very clean, the food is delicious and the view of the sea is breathtaking. It's great to be able to sit on the balcony in the evening and listen to the sound of the sea. The homestay also has direct access to the beach. As a woman travelling alone, I felt more than at home here and especially loved Chatu and her older daughter. I wish the family all the best and will certainly come back again one day.

Dont book this place. Its not worth for what we pay.

Cons:

I booked a delux double room after reading the reviews and seen the pictures.
I was bit dissapointed when I got a small room. Its a basic very small room. Just a bed with a thin matress, one bed side cupboard and small dressing table. Towel rack was just outside the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and in good condition.
We requested Sri Lankan Breakfast which  was good.

Host is very kind. She asked me to cancel the booking if Im not very happy about the room. But it was heavy raining and I didnt want to take a chance with my young niece to find a nother place.
What they have advertised was not there.  The place is under constructions/ renovations.
