Pros:

Amazing place to have a truly local experience in a very nice family. We were very fortunate to spend there two nights. The beds were very comfortable, hot shower, working air conditioner. The breakfasts and dinners were very tasty. And in general we felt like very special guests in the family.

Très bon accueil, famille arrangeante, nous avons profité de la sortie safari Hurulu proposée par la famille durant laquelle nous avons vu beaucoup d'éléphants. Petit dej copieux, je recommande !

Pros:

Tolle Gastgeber, herzliche Atmosphöre. Leckeres Frühstück. Einmal haben wir ein tolles Abendessen zu einem angemessen Preis dazugebucht und eine Safari in den Hururu Eco Park. Auf der Terrasse lässt es sich gut aushalten.

WOW! Absolutely blown away by Anu and her family. They were incredibly kind and hospitable throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, the shower was hot and the AC worked very well. Breakfast was a feast and dinner (very reasonably priced) it was the best I’ve had while travelling! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone else who is looking to stay in Dambulla or Sigirya!

Pros:

Ruhige Lage abseits der Straße. Die beiden vermieteten Zimmer liegen hinter dem Wohnhaus des Vermieters und wurden vor kurzem renoviert.
Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit, der Bruder hat TukTuk.
Vor allem das Abendessen der Mutter ist hervorragend.
Am besten vom Bruder an der Busstation abholen lassen, denn (zur Zeit zumindest) fehlt das Schild an der Straße und das Haus liegt etwas hinterhalb.

Piumi estuvo siempre pendiente de todo.
Habitación amplia con aire acondicionado,baño sencillo pero muy limpio.
Desayuno muy rico 😋 y el primer día salíamos pronto y nos prepararon desayuno para llevar.
Su hermano tiene un tuk tuk que te ayuda a movilizarte si no quieres caminar ( a buen precio).
El check out lo hicimos tarde y nos permitieron usar la habitación.

Prima verblijf met vriendelijke en behulpzame gastfamilie.
Pros:

Vriendelijke gastvrouw, met zeer behulpzame broer (met eigen tuktuk). Ze regelden safari naar minneriya national park (prima prijs), de rit naar Pidurangala Rock en vervoer naar en van het verblijf. Het verblijf ligt op loopafstand van de Gouden Boeddha.
Vrijstaand gebouw met veranda en 2 aparte kamers. Prima bedden, goed werkende airco, redelijke wifi.
Het ontbijt en avondeten was lekker en er werd rekening gehouden met wensen.

Cons:

De prijs voor het avondeten was aan de hoge kant. Het verblijf ligt wat afgelegen om naar een restaurantje te lopen.

The family which runs this property are very good and humble. Owner was kind enough to pick us directly from bus stand to the Homestay. They served authentic Srilankan food which was very tasty. Royal cave temple and Dambulla stadium are quite near and we can get tuk tuk easily. Go to place to stay if you are visiting sigiriya and Dambulla.
