Pros:

The rooms have everything you need for a short or long stay: comfortable bedding, a good bathroom, a kitchen, and a refrigerator. A generous Sri Lankan breakfast is provided. The hosts are friendly, speak very good English, and helped us find a taxi at the end of our stay. The location is ideal, right by the sea, with plenty of restaurants nearby.
I highly recommend it.

Great value next to epic beach
Pros:

Amazing location walking distance from one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

Pros:

Only a 3-minute walk to the beach. The room was brand new and spotless. The bathroom was spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped with a gas stove and plenty of counter space, making it easy to cook proper meals.
​Since we were the only guests, we were lucky enough to have the entire second floor—including the kitchen, dining area, and balcony—all to ourselves. However, it might have felt a bit cramped if we had to share the space with other guests.

Quiet budget accommodation close to local beach
Pros:

Good breakfast, nice outside seating area, close to local beach, restaurants and bars. Fridge in room. Reasonably quiet at night.

- Localisation juste à côté de la plage et entourée de plein de petits resto
- Petit déjeuner sri lankais très bon et copieux
- Lit confortable & moustiquaire
- Les hôtes peuvent appeler un tuk-tuk pour nous
- Clim et ventilateur fonctionnels
- Petite terrasse très sympa, petit dej servi devant notre porte
- Endroit très calme !

Pros:

Kesinlikle temiz ve sakin bir yer, güvenli huzurlu... Plaja çok yakın, ulaşım sorunu yaşamadım. Ev sahibi çok tatlı bir insan ve evine gerçekten güzel bakıyor.

Estancia tranquila a 5 min. de la playa de Nilaveli

- La tranquilidad que hay en la zona.
- Es un alojamiento familiar y la amabilidad y cercanía de los dueños es genial.
- Cercano a la playa y al centro de buceo (5 min. andando).
- Habitación amplia y cama muy cómoda.

Pros:

We loved our stay at Theepan. You have your own little hut and a very comfortable terrace. Very private and quiet. The Theepan family is extremely kind and helped arrange laundry and a tuk tuk to the bus station. They also facilitated a very early breakfast. Would definitely recommend!

Cons:

It was great that the room was provided with a fridge, but it was a bit smelly (probably because people keep turning it on and off with the door closed).
