I really liked my stay there.
The host was friendly
Big and comfortable bed
The best thing was proximity with the beach and swimming spot with big waves to have fun with.
Also close to Yoga Tangalle studio.
Close to a decent supermarket

Cons:

The porch area could be a bit more comfy, for improved outside chill experience

Pros:

good room with fan and super friendly environment. value is ok, when considering the low price. the garden is a super nice place to sit in and its so close to the beach.

Cons:

for us it was to hot to sleep. because it is ground floor and the windows dont have bars on them, you either have an open house all night or have to close them. with closed windows it got really hot really quick.
other than that the place could be much nicer with some small adjustments. it could use a new mosquitonet or fix/ wash of the old one. maybe nets on the windows. and a thorough "spring cleaning" of all the corners etc. with those small things it would measure up to other budget places we stayed at. still worth going, if you dont mind the heat.

Pros:

Het personeel was erg lief en zorgaam. Toen ik ziek was heeft ze heel goed voor me gezorgd.

Great Place, Close to the Beach, best price!
Pros:

The Hostess is very friendly and helpful—she also prepared a great breakfast! The place is very nice and close to the beach! I’m 75 years old and walked to the beach in under 2 minutes— and you can hear the music of the Ocean Waves day and night! A GREAT EXPERIENCE, best priced place in town, AND WORTH EVERY PENNY!
I also recommend the “Trees Restaurant” that’s a 5-7 minute walk away! (See pic)

Cons:

Well… I left the place to go find a place closer to “Secret Beach” (to go Snorkeling)… found a nice place but it was much more expensive… So I returned to Tangelle to discover that the place that I so enjoyed was fully booked!
(I found another really nice, place just up the hill, but had to pay more!)

After arriving, make sure to have her block off whatever additional days you hope to stay there! It’s the best place in the area for the money!!!

Pros:

The location of the accomodation is amazing. Only few meters from the beach. The host is also very nice and offers breakfast as well. We have had the “villa” which was separated from other rooms. There was an AC in the room but we have not used it…

Cons:

I think this place could be easily a little paradise but actually I believe they have to take more attention to clean the rooms / fridge / bathrooms. And would be great to have some protection agains mosquitos and other bugs. There is no hot water but it was ok for us.

Ubytování je kousek od pláže, v noci ho můžete slyšet. Personál je moc milý.

Cons:

Pokoj je dost malý, trochu temný. Málo úložného prostoru na zavazadla. Hodně slabá wifi, ale to je na Sri Lance běžné. Okna se hůř zavírají, takže se do pokoje snadno dostane hmyz (ale nad postelí je noskytiéra, takže to není takový problém).

Pros:

I just LOVE this place, it's less than a minute from the beach and all the good restaurants, but still it feels quiet, because it's not right on the main street.
I can highly recommend this place and Mrs. Ramana is such a lovely person.❤️
And the breakfast is perfect, it keeps me going on until dinner, so it's the perfect place if you are on a budget too.
I started out with 2 days, and extended immediately for 2 weeks.
Maybe I never leave 😃😂
