Renjini, Rajesh and Lawrence are exceptional hosts who can not do enough for you. Tennis wonderful cooking Rajesh happy to drive you to any location and Lawrence full of wonderful advice on where to visit. The property itself is in a quiet location and is very clean and comfortable

Owner and staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Lawrence Uncle — I didn’t have to search or plan anything on my own. For all my local visits, he personally arranged a jeep or auto as needed, making the trip completely hassle-free. Truly felt like home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! 💚

A Truly Beautiful and Relaxing Stay at Sopanam Heritage, Thekkady

Our stay at Sopanam Heritage was absolutely wonderful. The place is very beautiful, calm, and peaceful — the perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, and all the major attractions and things to do in Thekkady are just a short distance away, making it super convenient.

Every day, we were treated to delicious homemade Keralan breakfasts, along with tea and coffee served right to our room — such a thoughtful touch! A special mention goes to Lawrence, who is a truly amazing person. He took such good care of us and made us feel completely at home. Rajesh and Renjini were also incredibly kind and warm, and it meant so much to us that they prepared breakfast for us as early as 7 am. without hesitation.

I am so thankful to all of them for making our stay feel like home. I highly recommend Sopanam Heritage to anyone visiting Thekkady. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and comfort.

Mr.Lawrance was exceptional is assisting for places of visit. His guidance and followup was very good.

The room was very good with a wooden finish making it a more traditional Kerala style house. Mainly, Mr.Lawrence was very helpful, he is more than a host. He provides all the suggestions about places to go and things to do.

I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful house, Lawrence was super helpful (even helping us get discounted tickets); Rajesh was so kind and drove us to some places we wanted to see and dropped us off at the bus. The whole family is just lovely and it shows they care a lot!

The personal touch by Mr Lawrence and entire family. They guided us well even where to shop, arranging Kallaripattu and Kathkalli tickets etc. They are maintaining a beautiful garden outside the house. Though a bit away from the centre of town but we felt like 🏠.

It's like staying in our home.. Mr. Lawrance takes good care.. without even any worries u can visit Thekkady..

The family hosting us where incredible! True example of hospitality. Lorenz is amazing, he went above and beyond to make sure our stay is pleasant and even made sure we were dropped with the hosts own car, any place we wished to go. They made us breakfast anytime we asked, picked us up when we arrived and they didn't charge anything for all this transports

Nic and comfortable stay in thekady

Loved our 2 day stay at Sopanam. Lawrence and Rajesh who manage the property were so helpful, be it arranging for cultural show tickets or guiding us where to go for sightseeing or where to eat. Breakfast prepared by Rajesh's wife was super delicious. We travelled with family and It was my brothers bday on 15th, Rajesh was kind enough to get a cake for him in the night of 14th from a nearby bakery so we could celebrate it at 12 am.

I wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful stay at Sophnam Heritage. It truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Lawrence and Rajesh.When I arrived at the destination five hours before the scheduled check-in time, Lawrence went out of his way to make my day productive. He proactively called me and arranged for an early check-in, allowing me to make the most of my day by exploring nearby spots such as Elephant Camping, Kalari, and Off-road safaris. Both Lawrence and Rajesh were incredibly helpful in guiding me throughout my stay. Their warm and friendly assistance made my experience all the more memorable.Thank you for creating such a welcoming and delightful atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again!
