Ratno and Ratna are amazing hosts! Their hospitality made us feel at home right away. While Ratna made delicious food for us, Ratno took us on beautiful tours and told us all about the region. You must not skip the sunrise tour! This stay really was a beautiful experience and we recommend it to everyone!
Bathroom could use an upgrade, but was fine.
Cabane dans les arbres au dessus de la maison des propriétaires, celà surprend mais la vue est magnifique sur les jardins et la montagne. Ratno et sa femme sont super accueillant, la cuisine est au top, pleins de bon conseils ! Je recommande.
La proximité avec la route principale qui est bruyante si sommeil léger.
Samen met een vriend heb ik in de boomhutten geslapen. De slaapplek zelf was goed en de naastgelegen douches werkten prima. Wat dit verblijf goed maakt, is het enthousiasme waarmee Suratno de omgeving laat zien. Wij zijn op twee tochten meegegaan. De eerste was een sunrise tour richting mount Bismo. Ronduit geweldig en voor iedereen een aanrader. Tijdens de tweede tocht hebben we via een lange wandeling meer van het Diengplateu gezien (plantages/meer/rivier). Deze tocht was pittiger, maar kan vast ingekort worden. Daarnaast kan er in de accommodatie tegen een kleine betaling ook eten besteld worden. WiFi werkte overal goed. In korte tijd hebben wij ons helemaal thuis gevoeld.
Denk eraan voldoende cash mee te nemen voor de eventuele tours (mocht het nodig zijn, dan kun je naar een ATM gebracht worden, maar dat is wel iets onhandiger).

Retno est un hôte extraordinaire qui m’a conseillé tout au long de mon séjour pour que je découvre la région au mieux.
La région est assez froide mais la chambre bénéfice d’une couverture polaire assez chaude

The host was amazing
The owner is kind, friendly and very helpful. He explained us what we can do during our stay in Dieng. His wife cooked us delicious food.
As it is located next to the main road, the noise from the traffic or vehicles was loud and quite disturbing in the night. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom can be improved.

Treehouse rooms. Lovely views of fields and plantations. Ratno and his wife cook great food including vegetarian options. Ratno has many years experience as a guide and much knowledge to share of the local area. He is an engaging personality who made sure we had a very memorable sunrise trek and enjoyable stay.
Traffic noise but this didn't affect our enjoyable experience.
Ratno is the best host! He js so welcoming, friendly and funny. He is really invested in his guests having a great time whilst they stay at Harumi.

- excellent local tours that give you a real taste of local life. We really enjoyed the tours and the unique insight Ratno gave us into local life.
- excellent value cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner which is delicious! One of the best Gado Gado we’ve had in Indonesia!
- good location half way between wonosobo and Dieng.
- convenient minimart across the road from the Homestay.
- complimentary water refill and tea/coffee available.
- the scenery around the Homestay is beautiful. Lots of plants and the balconies look out on to the volcano and farmland.
- Ratno can arrange scooter hire or taxis if needed. He also helps with local buses if you prefer to take those. He is a super helpful host!

Beautiful view and a nice accomodation.
One of the showers didn't have warm water.
Lot of traffic noise is coming from the road.
It is a well maintained treehouse with a good facilities . The host was not a host , he is a father to us . Its worth the money and we have a great experience there . Definitely will repeat it again
