Great local food freshly served . The cook serves with passion. The staff were very friendly.
Very professional,coutteous and helpfull staff. Had lunch, dinner and breakfast from Mallakkarethu House during my stay. They served excellent, hot and delicios homely food throughout.
Owner Mr. Joji is an excellrnt hodt,takes keen interest in the property. I enjoyed his warm hospitality and made me feel at home throughout my stay.
The property situated on the banks of Pumpa river is conveniently located, just 5 minutes of walk to famous Aranmulla Parthsarathy temple.

The owner and staff at this property were exceptionally helpful from the booking process all the way to the last day of our one week stay. We had a party of 11 people occupying 5 rooms.
They not only catered to our requests for the different meals with extremely delicious home cooked meals ( Shout out to the chef and kitchen staff), they also helped us out with whatever needs we had, like finding a tailor, getting local transportation, looking for train tickets, washing our laundry etc. We felt extremely cared for and enjoyed our stay.
The bathrooms could be upgraded. It is Kerala and there are occasional spiders in the room, despite their best efforts.

It’s an older style property with a a totally renovated interior. It has the best combination of fascinating architecture and modern comforts. The Bedrooms are spacious with a king bed and balcony. Ours had a view of the river across the gardens. It was quiet and comfortable.
The staff were absolutely accommodating. They cooked us local home style meals to our choice. They were flat out while we were there, but still found time to look after us. It was a great stay for us and we stayed 3 nights.
Not much. Would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room. Also the wifi was not the best, but considering that we chose a village stay we are being really fussy here.
Property looks like an old kerala house but bedroom and bathroom was all done up modern. All staff were excellent, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. especially Martin.
