Pros:

A place to stay if you’re planning on staying a day or two. It’s about 15 min walk to the boulevard and the same with a tricycle to the airport. The room that I was staying in was very clean, had an ac, the bed was comfortable and has a shared balcony.
Nikko who is the host is a nice and warm person, he helps you out with all the questions and request that you have.

Great location, helpful and polite host with lots around you.
Pros:

You have two floors upstairs. One is a living room space with a good tv, kitchen area and fridge. The other are the rooms. There was lots available to you indoors if you wanted and the host (Nikko) was very helpful and polite. We stayed for 2 nights before heading to Siquijor and really enjoyed our stay 🫶🏽

We would recommend travelling to Sans Rival for food as it’s reasonably priced and food amazing (especially the pasta plates)

Pros:

We had an unexpected night in Dumaguete due to travel delays and booked into Elaine's Homestay as the price was right for us. We could not fault the place. Nikko was so friendly, the house was spotless and the location was close to the port for our boat the following morning. 10/10 would stay again :)

Homestay - alles geteilt ausser das Zimmer
Pros:

Sehr nette Leute, Ruhige Lage, Alles sehr sauber.

Cons:

War im günstigsten Zimmer (12m), da war das Bett durchgelegen und quitscht. Am Anfang komisch, da viele Leute da, aber nur Nikko bescheid weiss und ef war nicht da 😅.

Лучший вариант остановиться в Думагете. Невероятно гостеприимные хозяева. Есть ощущение, что приехал клюбимым родственникам :) Великолепный вид с балкона. Очень уютный интерьер дома. Есть все необходимое. Чистота потрясающая. Нарядно, красиво, лучше некуда.

Cons:

Немного шумновато, но и локация в центре при этом хороша!

I have booked a room in this hotel for my girlfriend for one night. But when she tried to move in, the area was closed, no one answered the phone. And there was some kind of crazy woman walking around the territory. And that's what my girlfriend wrote: "Kung dili mo ganahan ma stressed, ayaw nalang gud mo dre. Kay kaaabutan ka'g siyam² hinulat kung mo check in ka, di pa gud mo tubag ug tawagan, giatay! Nya ni entertain kunohay may something sa utok pud 'tong babaye di sya masabtan, sorry giingnan ra'ko sa silingan nga may sayad 'sya. Sayang 1,900 pesos. Wala ko ni check in! Nag book ko'g laing hotel room." And the cancellation was also paid, so I just lost 1,900 pesos.
