MUNDUK RETREAT - Pondok Pekak Lelut

I loved the place itself, the ocean view, the garden, it was so nice to wake up and do exercises there. There’s no WiFi, so it was nice to spend time with myself.

I loved food, sooo good cooked.

Recommend this place for sure.

Waanzinnig mooi uitzicht. De familie doet echt alles voor je en heeft een zeer positieve en sociale levensinstelling. Het meekoken is super leuk, het eten echt lekker. De dochter bracht me ook naar een super sfeervol restaurant in de buurt toen ik wifi nodig had voor mij werk. Het huis waarin in verbleef was enorm en zo prachtig met al het hout.

I was really impressed to this place the family running it ars really beautiful and friendly.
The room was really good, it was much bigger than I thought, it had a couch table, desk , and vanity table with mirror, good bathroom, hot shower.
For the excellent price I got way more than I was expecting. Best value for money place ive stayed for sure.
Amazing location in the mountains with some really cool Cafe and restaurants close, even a beautiful Thai restaurant a few minutes on bike
The gardens here are really looked after and beautiful, really good vibe here and to top it off they bring a beautiful lillte breckfast to your room each morning and a dinner with family and guests at 7pm.

Ive extended my stay here.

I would recommend hiring a scooter in this area, there are plenty of places that will deliver the bike to your door. Otherwise the family here help out with tours and excursions.

Wspaniale miejsce. Najbardziej podobał mi się rodzinny klimat, wszyscy byli bardzo pomocni i otwarci. Doskonała również jest okolica, można spacerować w naturze i spokoju od razu po wyjściu z terenu. Pyszne jedzenie, można dołączyć do gotowania i nauczyć się czegoś o balijskiej kuchni.

Séjour en immersion totale : les repas du soir sont pris en commun avec les autres voyageurs et notre hôte contre une simple donation. Vous pouvez même participer à sa préparation.
Les chambres sont typiques et propres
Les hôtes sont adorables et nous avons aussi partagé un moment avec des voyageurs très sympathiques !

Avevamo la villa veramente bella e con grandi spazi.
Circondata da un magnifico giardino. L'host e famiglia sono molto disponibili e ospitali.

Le lieu est magnifique et très reposant. La famille Balinaise qui tient cette établissement et qui y vit est très accueillante. Le personnel qui entretient le jardin magnifique est très souriant et poli. Nous avons cuisiné avec la famille et avons discuté sur les traditions familiales balinaises, un échange magnifique. Merci pour le temps passé avec nous et les repas sont délicieux.

Gentillesse de la famille accueillante, Komang le propriétaire prêt à organiser des transferts et répondre aux questions, belle localisation dans la proximité de Munduk, très bons dîners avec la famille, vue sur la nature. Proximité immédiate du point de départ pour le tour du lac (compter 15 minutes à pied pour être sur le lieu de départ). Possibilité de louer des scooters sur place mais en quantité limitée donc à anticiper lors de la réservation.

Partager des moments avec la famille, nous avons cuisiné et partagé les repas tous les soirs avec eux et les autres hôtes.
Le propriétaire donne beaucoup d 'nformation sur la vie des balinais et peut organiser les sorties, transferts et location de scooter.

We booked really late at 7pm, due to our hike taking much longer than expected. We were cold wet and just needed to have a hot shower and rest. We had a late check in but the family welcomed us with smiles and took us to our really nice bungalow. Better to describe it as a loft with a downstairs lounge. It's a really big place for the price! It has a fully stocked shared kitchen that you can easily cook for a family.
The view is amazing in the morning looking out over a valley.
Bed was amazing, everything was comfortable and easy. In the morning I woke up and went to some warungs that were close and bought breakfast supplies and we enjoyed our stay. If you want to do hikes in the area this is a perfect base camp, bring food supplies to end the day with some cooking. Book a few days and climb some mountains or tracks in the area.

I have stayed in this hotel just for a night in my trip around North of Bali. I found a spacious apartment with a comfy bed and some basic facilities. This was enough. The view from the balcony is cool. The hosts were welcoming and nice. But other than that it is ok.

Everythings was perfect. We can only recommend to stay at this amazing place in a beautiful landscape. Komang and his family are so helpful and nice. The food which Komangs wife prepares is fantastic and it is so interesting to talk to Komang. The views are amazing. It was easy to get around because Komang was organising drivers for us all the time.
