Good for backpackers or young adventurous travellers
Pros:

1. Property is indeed very close to ghat. It takes less than a minute to walk to the ghaat.
2 . The owner was very kind and cooperated a lot to accommodate my pickup and drop from/to the venue.
3. Breakfast was good

Cons:

It’s not about the property that I didn’t like it’s just that it’s not appropriate for me.
1. The property is very much inside in the alleys. Reaching the location was tough. No vehicle will reach the doorway. They do send a porter to pick up your luggage. But it’s a lot of walking.
2 . Although the locals vouch by the safety of the lanes and considering this place is bag packing foreign nationals choice of Accomodation it might be safe. But, late in the evenings the lanes have an eerie feel from a solo woman’s perspective it feels a bit scary. Though I must mention nothing I towards incident happened to me.
2. Stairs. My room was on 3rd floor . It’s stairs all the way. Please be mindful while making your booking, you will need to climb a lot of stairs. A person like me with knee pain would want to avoid that.
3. The door to my room had glass pane ( no frosted), that did not give a good sense of privacy. They do have a curtain inside and outside of the door , I had to tweak with their arrangement to bring a sense of privacy. Because the curtain would flutter if the fan was turned on and the room was visible from outside. Also the bathroom has a ventilator with broken pane that opens directly to the common area on my floor.
4. The geyser had an issue. They had to turn on the pump everytime I wanted to take a bath only then hot water would come .

Charming accommodation close to the ghats.
Pros:

A large table for breakfast for all the guests, which made it very Easy to make contact with the other guests. Good quality breakfast with homemade Bread. Vert friendly staff!

Lovely at home feel
Pros:

We had a lovely time here. The property feels like you are staying in a loved home that is well taken care of by the staff. We really enjoyed the at home breakfast and the ambience of the roof top restaurant. Although the location might seem difficult to find at first, it is well worth it due to the quiet atmosphere of this residency. Location is also very good next to the main ghat. They also organised a sunrise boat activity which made the hassle of finding a boat driver much easier. Overall we highly recommend.

Nos hicieron sentir como en casa
Pros:

Lo que más nos gustó fue la ubicación: está en pleno centro, justo al lado de los ghats y no muy lejos de Godowlia, por lo que se puede ir caminando a casi todos los lugares. Las habitaciones son sencillas pero muy cómodas, y el restaurante en la terraza es ideal. Abre de 4 p.m. a 9 p.m. y preparan platos realmente deliciosos. Agradecemos especialmente al cocinero, Ashu, por su amabilidad, por los desayunos y por su increíble comida casera.

Se tiene que pagar en efectivo y nosotros no lo teníamos en cuenta

edificio storico molto bello, terrazza bella con vista su gange e sulla città vecchia, camera spaziosa e con molti punti di appoggio, ottima AC e bagno con acqua sempre calda. posizione molto centrale se si vuole stare nella città storica, non è detto sia per tutti

scomodo doversi togliere le scarpe all'ingresso, eravamo al terzo piano. colazione non abbondante con la solita omelette

Pros:

This is a stunning heritage property with a good cause. Considerately restored, the interior of the building and rooms are just stunning as are the rooftop views. Location is also very good but you should be sure that being located in the heart of the Ghats is the right thing for you. If it is then the location is perfect :-)

Pros:

L'emplacement est propice à se rendre aux différents endroit phares de Varanasi. Le lieu est également sympa et traditionnel.

Cons:

Les outils et matériaux mis à disposition étaient moindres.. Le drap était trop petit, nous avons donc du en demander un autre. Le lit avait toute l'armature en bois cassé et le matelas était un peu affaissé. Nous avons demandé du papier toilette car cela n'était pas mis à disposition, on nous a donc proposé de nous l'acheter (il nous en a finalement donné un après avoir insisté). Les sanitaires sont également à revoir (pas de sac poubelle surtout si on doit y jeter nos papier dedans). Par cause de pluie, le sol est également glissant et dangereux et aucun d'entretien du sol a été fait. De plus, le personnel étaient peu accueillant et soucieux dès notre arrivé.
