Roni, the host, is very kind and attentive. He is very hospitable and helpful. The house is beautiful as is the garden roof where you can relax and have tea. The view of all of Jerusalem is spectacular. The room we slept in is cosy and very unique. We felt at ease and had our privacy.
Roni is the best of hosts: kind, welcoming, patient and accommodating.
The setting, the neighbourhood and the place, as well as the terrace, great to take breakfast. I felt like at home in this beautiful house, quiet with spacious rooms, nice furniture, good air conditioning and (last but not least) a friendly, caring and welcoming host.
Roni is a very welcoming host and extremely helpful with travel tips. Good rooftop garden with views over old city. Convenient location about 20 mins walk to old city and very good value for money for such a location. Shared bathroom was no problem and Roni helped with a parking space. This is a house stay in an interesting and slightly quirky house with lots of interesting objects around the house, not a hotel. Was ideal for me and would stay again
Cozy Garden is really cozy ☺️
Ronnie is a very friendly and nice host. He gives you a lot of information and tipps. His home is full of life experience, spirit and soul. The rooftop is beautiful. We loved it.
Very accommodating and helpful host. Communication was prompt. He was also very flexible with our arrival date/time. And savedvus a parking spot.
Perhaps remove unnecessary items in the room so that there's more room for guests.
Excellent location for our needs.
Great garden view.
Exceptionally friendly host
There was hot water for the shower always available.
The decor is a bit cluttered (for my taste) and the cleanliness is a bit spotty.
I suppose I am not a bit fan of cats running around freely.
A shared bathroom is not for everyone but the guests that were on the property were very nice.
The narrow steps to the roof are a bit dodgy.
A very welcoming host, helping with all things and providing helpful information for visiting this exciting city. The house is charming, not sterile at all, with a lot of athmosphere, a bit old-fashioned in style. It is in a peaceful neighbourhood and very quiet, no traffic noise at all. A wonderful view of the old town from the rooftop terrace. If you are a good walker, the old town is in walking distance, but keep in mind that Jerusalem is a hilly city. Good, frequent bus connection to the Damascus Gate, the modern centre/train station and to the checkpoint to Bethlehem.
Staff is freindly, helpfull!
Room and bath are not clean, doors do not work.
The location was perfect and you have an access to the rooftop where you will see the whole Jerusalem. The owner Roni was very accommodating pick us up with an umbrella since it's raining when we arrive. He also offered a hot soup.
You have to walk for 50meters with a few more steps on a stair so If you have heavy luggage, it will be a little hard. But thats how the street was nothing we can do about it.
The house is more a family home, with storage of many objects and souvenirs, which attracts dust. The number of objects should be reduced, in my opinion, for rentals. At night, there was a cat sleeping on a towel in the bathroom. My main issue was that, when I woke up to have a shower at 7:30, there was no hot water at all. It was not pleasant for me to go to a full day of work with clients without starting with a morning shower. I contacted the owner later in the day but he didn't seem to know exactly why it happened (rather suggesting a few possible reasons) and didn't offer any partial refund for the big inconvenience. I am sure the owner will be more careful with future visitors to ensure the hot water system is properly operating day and night. Otherwise the stay is not good value for money.
Ideally located within a 20 min walk of Old City. Also bus connections nearby. Choice of several restaurants 5 mins walk away at the old train station. Great view of Old City from roof terrace. Owner Roni, who lives on premises, is a genial & helpful host who can assist with recommendations of places to visit. An enjoyable comfortable stay.
Not sure what happened to the advertised continental breakfast, although it did not worry me as I was out early every day.
Very good location, we could reach the Old Town easily by foot, amazing view from the terrace and very kind and helpful owner An his cat is wonderful and very friendly :) The garden is also amazing :)
Amazing place, like professional photographers studio! We loved everything: the view from the roof, the garden and the antique furniture, warm and home like atmosphere - and first of all Roni, the owner, is very nice host.
No problem to find parking near the house. You can park and walk surround, there are a lot of interesting places in walking distance. Yes planet movie theater, the first historical train station are very close and are opened at Friday night (while most other places are closed because of Shabat)
Nothing
quiet, lovely view,
The location is super great. You can walk to old town. Also we took a bus to Bethlehem just down the street. Also there is an old train station close with awesome restaurants. The property has a nice roof with an amazing view, the room is spacious and the host is very kind and will help you as much as possible.
The room is decorated like my grandma 's place. All kind of old furniture, pictures of his family, old stereo stuff and lots of old carpets.
The old sofa's and carpets collects a lot of dust which made me sneeze all night.. I truly hope the owner takes this a positive feedback, because if he modernizes all the rooms and bathroom he has a golden spot.
