Ken House Osaka

Even though it was quite far, I really loved the ambiance and the peaceful atmosphere when I arrived at the property. It truly felt like a home away from home. The owner felt like a father figure—he made a genuine effort to talk with me, and I truly enjoyed our conversations.

La convivialité et les attentions de ken le propriétaire

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and
the home was clean and comfortable place to rest after a long day. The futon was so warm and cozy, I slept and rested very well. The home has all the facilities you need. Also it was equally between Kyoto and Osaka so I could spend time in both places visiting. Ken is kind enough to provide a pick up and drop off at the closest train station which makes the commute smoother.

The house was great, clean, Very spacious and relaxing, and Ken is very kind. He would drive us to station and it was easy to get to Osaka and Kyoto from there. He is very kind to open his house to guests and has amenities arranged for everyone like slippers, bath towel and soap. the price is great though.

This is a private residence owned and run by Ken. An older guy who runs a very strict and tight ship. He is an awesome guy Follow all his strict rules and you will have a wonderful stay. We slept on futons for the first time and was so comfortable. Challenging if you are less mobile, but quite do able. A beautiful house. Ken ran us to the station each morning, with a lift home each night. There are shops for food a short distance away. Don't be late meeting him. He is very punctual. We tried to always be early. Ps don't forget to leave the key......

Mr Ken who is owner of the house has great hospitality. The room & bedding were so comfortable.

Nice, clean house in a quiet location between Osaka and Kyoto... Close to parks, a river, a bus station, supermarkets and restaurants.
The host was very kind, offering a morning and evening lift to the train station as well as making us feel at home in his house.
We had a great time!

Ken is a really loving and caring person who will attend to all your needs. He will welcome you with tea and show the neigberhood to you (after he picked you up from the station for free). The room itself is simple but sufficient in a really calm neighborhood. There is a nice park nearby where you can do sports and calisthenics.

This property is like a Homestay run by a very nice gentleman. If you don’t want to pay the exorbitant Kyoto hotel prices, this is a great option. It is a 13 minute train ride to Kyoto and a 12 minute car ride to the station from his house. You get 1 ride to and from the station per day, and there is also a bus if needed. The house is meticulously clean, it is quiet, the bed in the Mountain View room is extremely comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Recommended to anyone and everyome who is looking for tranditional Japanese stay. The host is aamaeezing!! He picks up and drops to the Subway Station. You can ask him about local must try and visit recommendations and enjoy giggling chats over dinner with him. We loved our experience over here.

Bonus tip: Please save the location of this place once you reach here because it is not easy to find it on google maps. Rest, everything is great!

Ken san was an amazing host. He took care of us very well! He was so helpful and very nice! In my opinion he is the best host I have ever experienced!

The host and house were amazing. Overly friendly and very helpful. Ken offered to drop and pick us up from the station in the morning and evening at whatever time we landed. Extremely helpful and polite.
