The place has great view, and silence, apart from the chirping of birds of all different kinds.
Pros:

The food was good though the choices are obviously limited, as it caters to limited persons. The staff has tried to accommodate the interests of the guests in every possible manner. They were helpful, kind and well mannered. The place is well maintained, has great garden with variety of plants that compliments the greenery around.

Cons:

The place is not easily reachable. The narrow and steep approach road that runs at least 400 meters from the main road might be quite challenging for old vehicles and city drivers with no experience of mountain driving. The approach road itself is an adventure in itself. There is no parking within the compound of the facility. Bigger vehicles like Safari or Scorpio will find it difficult to navigate the narrow and steep road to the guest house. The view and the stay is worth the effort, if you can take the challenge and if you don't have to navigate the approach road multiple times.

Everything exceeded expectations
Pros:

This is the best option for a stay in Bhimtal. First off this is a family run boutique hotel. It is high on a hillside overlooking the lake - the best viewpoint in the town. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with dozens of the owners pictures of birds and animals of the area.Last but not the least, simple home style food made by an amazing chef. Do not miss the pakoras.

Cons:

Nothing. However you have to drive up the hill on a steep narrow , though paved road. only limited parking available on a ledge nearby

Pros:

Breath taking views from all Rooms. The owner gives a personal touch by interacting with all guests and see that they are well taken care off. Food is very well prepared and special mention goes to the courteous staff. Special mention to Mohit ji & Himesh for taking such good care of us.
If you are a nature love this is the right place. Such beautifully nurtured gardens. You can see & hear the chirping of birds till sunset. As it is situated high on the hill its usually windy here.
Perfect peaceful place to relax in the lap of nature. Would love to visit again

Cons:

Drive to the top of the hill was too steep. But again to reach to get access to breath taking views you have to have a little bit of an adventurer in you.

Pros:

I heavily depend on genuine reviews and really read through so here is one for anyone who needs it. Location is little offbeat and elevated road that runs around 0.8 km. But it's worth it totally. View from the room is 10/10. We extended our stay for the view. Rooms are now renovated and are very clean and great ambiance. Mohit and Kimesh help you even before you ask. We did stick to food options served to us and it was amazing. Depends on what you are looking for but you will definitely find what you didn't expect.

A wonderful homestay, offering beautiful views of the Bhimtal lake. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable rooms with beautiful balconies. Very very hospitable and friendly hostess and staff. Delicious home cooked meal.

Pros:

beautiful location & views unmatched away from the hustle. Staff is excellent & always ready to help. Food is fresh & very very good. You would not regret any penny spent over here. Host was warm & she even made a herbal drink for our child who was unwell during our stay at the property. all in all a great experience in the hills.

Pros:

Warm people, good food, serene view of peaceful nature, spacious room with good interior and balcony filled with plants are some USP of this property. This is a great place to spead quality time with the family or friends. Would surely love to visit it again.

There is nothing to dislike about this place, someone who has been to mountains would definitely love the place as the owner and the staff leave no stone unturned to make your stay comfortable

A great stay for us and surely look forward to come back. Overall, We had a lovely stay.
Pros:

Magpie was a home away from home. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Decor has been very pleasant. The place was green, clean, beautiful and truly in nature's lap.
Neha, the owner, very sweet lady. Although we panned to stay for 4 days, but had to return after 2 days due to some urgency back home. Neha understood us and adjusted our request nicely.
Property is superb with so much trees of fruits.
The staffs (Mohit and team) were very hospitable, flexible and warm.
Place has beautiful view of Bhimtal lake and mountain valleys. The place is perfect to spend time with family .Scenic view is fantastic. You can enjoy birds chirping when wake up in the morning..
This is a great place to relax and also conveniently located for adventures and site seeing. The location is a bit far from the main road, .
A great stay for us and surely look forward to come back.
