Phong Nha Mountain House

Easily the best place we stayed in Vietnam—an absolute must-visit. Our room was immaculate with a stunning view, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights, and we loved every minute! We felt as if we were a small part of this lovely family. They took care of us in such a lovely way that we really miss them now at our new location. It was the best stay in Vietnam so far! We also want to give a special compliment to the breakfast and dinner that was always so tasty😍 And the lovely room! As we had to leave in the morning, they even provided us with a breakfast package that was handed to us at 4 a.m. in the morning! Also, the taxi was organised by them. So I guess we just wanted to say thank you!🫶

Ho adorato la disponibilità della famiglia che gestisce la struttura. Hanno risolto ogni nostro problema con gentilezza. C’è la possibilità di cenare nel bellissimo alloggio, con specialità cucinate da loro. La colazione è variegata e puoi scegliere piatti dolci o salati. Ti permettono anche di lasciare i bagagli prima e dopo il check-in/check-out. Dopo il check out ci hanno dato la possibilità di stare nella zona esterna della struttura dove ci sono tavolini, panche e un bagno di servizio, con un buon caffé in stile vietnamita!

Logements atypiques au calme et spacieux.
Malgré l'éloignement des commerces (volontairement choisi pour notre part) des vélos étaient mis à disposition gratuitement, en moins de 10min nous pouvions rejoindre les restaurants.
Il est également possible de manger sur place, le repas est copieux et délicieux.
Choix important également de petits déjeuners.
La gérante a été aux soins avec nous et s'est également occupée de réserver un taxi pour rejoindre la station de bus.

Without any doubt, this is the best place we have ever stayed. We travel a lot, all over the world, and this was truly an unforgettable experience.

The accommodation itself is perfect. It is peaceful, beautiful, spotlessly clean, and has everything you could possibly need. The room was cleaned every day, fresh drinking water was provided, there was a refrigerator, excellent air conditioning, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Everything was simply perfect.

But what makes Phong Nha Mountain House so special is not the building. It is the people.

During our stay, our daughter celebrated her 13th birthday. The family went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable day. They decorated the room with balloons, surprised her with a beautiful birthday cake, and made her feel incredibly special. Their kindness and genuine care touched our whole family.

They also offered dinner at the homestay. We decided to try it once... and then never ate anywhere else again. It was, without question, the best food we had during our entire trip through Vietnam. Every meal was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious.

Phong Nha itself became our favorite destination in Vietnam. The caves are breathtaking, the hiking is spectacular, and the nature is stunning. We would recommend everyone visiting Vietnam to spend time here.

But what we will remember most is the warmth, generosity, and love we received from everyone at Phong Nha Mountain House. They didn't just make us feel like guests; they made us feel like family.

If I could give more than five stars, I would happily give ten. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving our family memories that we will cherish forever. We hope to come back one day.

Exceptional hosts, beautiful, unique and comfortable rooms. Amazing home cooked food.

Es ist ein phantastische Ort geführt von außergewöhnlichem Mädelsteam. Es gibt sehr köstliches frischgekochtes Frühstück und Abendessen, wenn man wünscht. Die Bungalows sind komplett aus Holz mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Man kann sich Fahrräder ausleihen for free. Es ist schön friedliche.

De ligging! En ziet er prachtig uit echt authentieke huisjes op palen.

Loved the ‘treehouse’ vibes of the rooms, and the fact that they were so spacious! It was nice to be able to stay in the room without having to sit on the bed.
We really enjoyed the help of the very friendly staff! They helped us book a day trip in the caves, which was a wonderful experience, and since we came back late we had dinner at their small ‘restaurant’. It was honestly a wonderful meal, that had a really home cooked and authentic feel (because it was just that). Their breakfast is also wonderful btw!
My dad fell in love with their coffee, and they taught him how to make it and even went out and bought both ingredients and instruments for him so he could make it at home!
All in all, we sincerely recommend and will stay there again in the future, if we ever visit the area again!

The staff were amazing and so welcoming. We were so grateful for how accommodating they were with our check in and check out. The location was excellent and our lodge had beautiful views of the mountains.
We were able to hire a moped through the Mountain House and explored the surrounding areas. It made it easy to zoom off to find great food and more amazing scenery.

Bungalows have large bedrooms and reasonably sized bathrooms. Included breakfast is great. Free push bikes available. Aircon works well. Very helpful staff.
