Decent location but disappointing value for money
Pros:

The location is central with respect to South and Central Delhi. Good and attentive staff at a home-stay.

Cons:

It was a rather basic and old room in a traditional homestay, with outdated facilities. Not worth it for the money I paid (4k per night). WiFI was unreliable and patchy, the room is dark and there is very little cellphone signal since there are dense residential houses and constructions all around.

Friendly and helpful staff. 24hr access to building. Breakfast was included and they have some options you can pick from.

Cons:

There are some maintenance issues with the building. It is a bit older than I expected from the photos. One of the electricity sockets is falling off the wall. The tap handle for turning on the shower also repeatedly falls off the wall. Also, I got a strong electric shock when I tried to change the temperature on the water heater device in the bathroom - be careful.

Clean and comfortable near the train station
Pros:

We had a quick overnight in Delhi and needed to be close to the train station. They allowed us to check in very early around 9am when our bus got into town which was a life saver. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful.
