Pros:

We really appreciated the attentive and friendly owner and gave us good advice on the area. We also liked the experience in that it was different from the average impersonal hotel. Was also very peaceful and Leo the dog was great. Can definitely recommend.

Un séjour incroyable
Pros:

Un grand merci à notre hôte pour sa gentillesse durant tout notre séjour, nous avons passé un moment incroyable
La vue sur le mont Aso est superbe, et notre hôte nous a donné de super adresses (restaurant du soir, activités autour du Mont Aso)
Nous nous rappellerons longtemps de ce séjour

Warm and cozy house with a helpful owner
Pros:

The room was clean and the owner uses the best quality products including slippers, soft towels, and thicker toilet paper. The house is warm, cozy, and comfortable with homey decor, a fire going in the wood stove in the evening, and high quality art.

He tried to help in any way he could like carrying suitcases, giving the best recommendations for things to see while in the area and in Takachiho, providing me with an umbrella, giving me a towel onsen package in case I needed it, and directing my car out of his front yard.

Cons:

A strict shower time ending at 10 pm and opens between 5-9 am. There is only 1 shower for the whole house, and thankfully there was no one else staying the 1st night and only a couple the second night so I could have my shower without running out of time. Looks like the house could have up to 4 guest rooms. The shared living space for eating can only be used until 10 pm. Strict check out time at 10 am with no late check outs allowed, and strict having to leave the accommodation between 10 am - 4 pm.

Probably not the greatest location without a car.

老闆非常用心，感覺物超所值。
Pros:

老闆非常的熱情，巨細靡遺的說明房間的設施，並且幫我們預約附近居酒屋的晚餐，知道我們會喝酒，還開車接送我們去吃晚餐。晚上在客廳的暖爐燒材取暖，有一種很溫暖的感覺。老闆養的黃金獵犬很可愛，會出來陪客人玩一下。房間的佈置很溫馨，浴室可以泡澡，很舒服。

Cons:

地點比較偏僻，適合會開車的朋友前往。民宿不提供早餐，要自己準備，最好入住前就買好早餐帶進去。

今年もお世話になりました。
Pros:

かわいいワンちゃんと気さくなご主人。旅の知識も豊富な為、色々な提案をしてくれます。

Cons:

部屋に虫が2匹紛れ込んでいて、しかもご主人も近くにおられない状況だったので結局自分で捕まえる事になりました。
