Horrible, horrible, horrible
Pros:

It was cheap.. it needed to be .. if it was free it would be too expensive

Lets you appreciate other hosts .. even the bad ones

With my job I travel to different hotels & b&bs almost every week and have done so for 14 years , this is the worst most unprofessional, nasty places I have ever been to

Do not do it to yourself do not stay in this truly horrible place

Read my other reviews, they are mostly 5 star, I try to be nice where I can ..only for truly terrible places do I give a bad review

I always try to arrive after the book in time (in this case 3.00pm which is later than most) but traffic etc meant I arrived about 20 minutes early.. in these cases you quickly find out if a b&b is pleasant and professional or not

I was ‘greeted’ by the host and owner with a scowl and the question “who are you ! “ I said I am staying here tonight .. she said “do you mean you are staying here after 3.00pm ? “ …” why are you early ?“.. I said my meeting finished early and traffic was better than I expected more meekly than I would have liked .. the nasty scowl continued so I offered to wait in my car until 3.00pm at which point she got very smug and said .. I bet you think I am rude don’t you ?.. I tried to be nice and said I had experienced worse ( I hadn’t it was exceptionally rude and unprofessional )

After my greeting the following was observed

There was no parking at the property as advertised the hosts daughters had taken up all the space
I was asked where I had parked , I said on the road outside to be told that a neighbour man with a van wouldn’t like that intimating possible damage to my car
she said the room has no lock because of the law.. she wasn’t allowed to have locks on the rooms (the only place in the whole UK where this applies apparently !)
I was interrogated on my intended movements to ensure I didn’t inconvenience her in any way
She then shouted through the door at me that I needed to shut my window (keep heat in) .. I had written so much more no space wardrobe full old clothes, single nasty bed advertised as double ...she will undoubtably reply ..
