Coming Home 🙏🏽
Pros:

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Super gepflegt, die Zimmer tiptop sauber. Es gab auf Wunsch ein leckeres Frühstück.
Die Familie sind so herzliche Gastgeber. Sie leben ihren Job.
Das war eine sehr schöne Erfahrung diese Herzlichkeit und Fürsorge zu spüren.
Ich kann das hier gar nicht so in Worte fassen.
Es war wie ein „nach Hause kommen“!

Saubere Unterkunft, herzlicher Gastgeber
Pros:

Diese Unterkunft gehört zu den saubersten und ordentlichsten die wir auf unserer Reise in Sri Lanka erlebt hatten.
Der Vermieter, der sehr gut Englisch spricht, ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Er gibt gerne Auskunft und gibt Empfehlungen zu Restaurants oder Besichtigungen ab.
Er bietet selbst Touren an oder vermittelt geeignete Guides.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausgiebig.
Man kann sich seine Wasserflasche mit Trinkwasser auffüllen.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Straße.

De eigenaar. De meest vriendelijke man van Sri Lanka. Weet alles over het land, helpt je graag en denkt met je mee. Gastvrijheid en fijn verblijf.

Peace and simplicity
Pros:

A homestay managed by a helpful professional couple who can also arrange excursions. The 3 rooms are clean and comfortable, with both aircon and fans. Good local meals and a laundry service are available. Credit cards are accepted. The location is quiet and wonderfully verdant. The lakeside walk to the town centre takes about 20 minutes. Recommended for peace and simplicity.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

Our home stay has been the best so far during our time in Sri Lanka.
Our hosts were so welcoming and willing to help in anyway possible. Breakfasts and dinner were delicious and plentiful. Wasantha and his wife were the ultimate hosts. Wasantha arranged guides and transport as we needed them. When I found out I had left some personal belongings at the previous hotel, Wasantha went out of his way to collect them and posted them to our next destination. Would definitely stay again and can highly recommend.

Propriétaires sympathiques et très accueillants
Pros:

Hospitalité. Très bon déjeuner et souper. Très attentif à nos demandes. Offre plusieurs services et renseignements. Nous a trouvé un guide/chauffeur en français. Nous a reconduit et servi de guide jusqu’à Puttalam en passant par un village d’une communauté africaine.

Tolles Homestay
Pros:

Ein schöner entspannter Aufenthalt! Wie von anderen schon beschrieben sehr nette Gastgeber die sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell ihre Gäste bewirten. Obwohl ich keine Leoparden gesehen habe, war die Safari ein tolles Erlebnis. Das angebotene Essen ist definitiv besser als in jedem Restaurant. Hervorragendes WiFi und durch den Garten vor der Tür eine gute Aufenthaltsqualität.

Wonderful hospitality.
Pros:

Our host family are lovely people who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. We did a Wilpattu safari organised by our host which was wonderful and he drove us to Jaffna for our next stay. The 4 hour journey flew by as we chatted about Sri Lanka as well as many other subjects. We had dinner twice and breakfast. Both were delicious. We also loved chatting to our host’s daughter who is a lovely young lady.

Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and it was very peaceful.

One item that would be very useful in the room is a rubber mop to clear away the water after showering.

Friendly, homely visit
Pros:

Lovely house, with front veranda and comfortable room. Owners were so kind and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Restaurants were close enough to walk to lake is nearby.

Pros:

Очень уютный небольшой гостевой дом на 3 номера. Приятные хозяева - семейная пара, мы чувствовали себя, как у них в гостях.
Комнаты небольшие, но в них все есть для комфортного прибывания - полотенца, чайник, фен, душ с горячей водой, кондиционер.
Мы заказывали завтрак - на выбор предлагают ланкийский(рисовая лапша, карри, фрукты) или континентальный (омлет, тосты с маслом и джемом, фрукты). Все было вкусно!
Проживание было максимально комфортным.

Cons:

Ванная комната представляет собой так называемый "деревенский душ", т.е единое пространство душа и туалета. Можно добавить шторку, чтобы не вся поверхность помещения сразу была мокрой.

Prima lokatie en vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw en gastheer.

Cons:

Douche is zeer matig en alleen lokaal ontbijt serveren valt niet bijiedereen in de smaak

Satisfaction garantie chez Wasantha et son épouse
Pros:

Wasantha et son épouse sont très accueillants et gentils.nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez eux. La chambre est très bien et les petits déjeuners et dîners aussi. Ils font extrêmement attention à nous et nous ont bien guidé pour les excursions que l' on a pu faire. Wasantha fait tout pour vous trouver le meilleur guide pour la visite de la ville, ou pour le safari a WILPATTU.

Cons:

Juste une chose les piqûres de moustiques,,😂eux ne sont pas gentils. Mais la encore Wasantha fait tout pour vous éviter ce désagrément en mettant des anti moustiques sur prises et a faire brûler. Plus sérieusement il n y a rien a redire. Si nous devions revenir au Sri Lanka, sans hésitation nous retournerions les voir.

Pros:

Very lovley homestay in Anuradhapura. Wasante, the owner helped with areanging tours in anuradhapura. Rooms are clean and nice, with mosqito repellent.
I can recommend breakfast and dinner at the waterfront homestay. I defenitly will come back here.
