Great choice for the first night after arrival (or before departure), breakfast was delicious and the place is really pretty with a good surrounding (quiet, supermarket in walkable distance). The Owner was really helpful with our questions!
Unusual lovely stone house. Very large room with A/C. Nice bath with a nice hot shower. The owner went beyond as he recommended a dinner spot, drove us there and picked us up. A drive to the airport was included.
We stayed only for one night when we flew in late to Colombo. It is very close to the airport and the owner picked us up for a quite reasonable price. Very comfortable, quiet with a very good breakfast. Like most Sri Lankans the hosts are lovely. The property is lovely.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and warm and ready to meet us quite early in the morning at the airport. We appreciated the good communication!
The house is nicely decorated and very clean. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and private. There is also an array of travel guide books through out the accommodation which is great for last minute planners. It is walking distance to a busy major road with local restaurants and supermarkets however it is still quiet and lush back at Rock House.
Breakfast is available on the balcony each morning and we strongly recommend eating the delicious meals they have on offer.

The Rock House is the perfect place to stay if you're flying in late or out early in the morning. It's close to the airport but on a quiet street. The house is a beautiful old colonial building with a lovely tropical garden. My room was huge, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and can arrange an affordable airport pick up/drop off. Order the local Sri Lankan breakfast; it is so delicious. Great wifi too. I will definitely stay there again before I fly out of Colombo.
Mr. Perera will make feel like home. He is a wonderful and very kind man. He helps us a lot in divers situations which we will not forget. We hope to there again. Thanks a lot 🙏🏽.
The proximity to the airport, the air-conditioned rooms, and the nice host are all excellent reasons to stay here!
No AC in main parts of house, but this was not an issue.
