This is extremey poor service, and the least we expect is a refund.
Pros:

Nothing, we were told we couldn't stay there as they had double booked.

Cons:

Our booking was double booked and we had to find other accommodation. The Whitehouse blamed booking.com, but what was worse is they did not refund us the money. The Whitehouse effectively got paid double, as they said they would not refund us. We gave no indication that we cancelled. Whitehouse did the cancelation, but told us our cancelation was too late. This makes no sense!

Pros:

Nothing i didn't stay there because when i got there the lady told me i never paid for my booking but i did and she wouldn't even check where the problem was although i told her multiple times that i paid and i had prove of my payment she brushed me off and told me i didn't pay and said that i need to look for another hotel to stay at now i lost a whole 600 just because she implied that i didn't pay while i have proof of my payment
