Very disappointed
Pros:

Host seems nice and immediately changed sheets after we reported bedbugs.

Cons:

The host was kind and responsive, but unfortunately our stay did not meet expectations. The toilet was not clean on arrival (urine on the toilet, hair in the shower, and a used toothbrush), which suggested it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The toilet is also not attached to the room.

We experienced bedbugs; although the host changed the sheets immediately after we reported it, it made our stay uncomfortable. We also saw big cockroaches. The mattress is on the floor and VERY hard so we slept poorly. The room is small with no bin. Ac remote not working.

Although it’s inside the historical city, it’s still a bit far from main attractions and there are no nearby restaurants—about a 20-minute walk. In hindsight, staying on the other side of the bridge would be more convenient. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Для спокойного отдыха, без частых визитов в город.
Pros:

Проживание в номере с двумя кроватями( полноценные двухместные). В номере три тумбочки, столик, два комфортных стула, большой шкаф, вместительный холодильник. Освещение достаточное, есть рабочие прикроватные светильники. Интерьер приятный, качественная мебель без плесени и запахов. Кондиционер рабочий. Комната светлая. Приятный балкончик со столиком и креслами. Душевая и туалет просторные, горячая вода есть всегда( но мыться нужно быстро, через мин 6-7 становится холодной).
Можно приготовить на общей кухне покушать.

Cons:

Удаленность от города. Ближайший мост через реку был закрыт, а дальний мост выходил в самый центр старого города, через который на велосипеде до пляжа ехать очень сложно( плотный трафик из транспорта и туристов).
Постельное белье хоть и было постирано, но все пододеяльники в желтых пятнах( со всех сторон), было очень неприятно видеть это каждый день. Тем более не было покрывала хотя бы это прикрыть.
Через три дня проживания повесили табличку- убраться. Что сделано: вынесли мусор, заменили полотенца, дали туалетную бумагу, протерли пол. Не сделали: постельное белье не заменили, воду не дали( только по заезду была).

Pros:

The family was very nice and sweet. I felt very welcome. On my first night, in addition to having my room upgraded, they invited me to bake sweet potatoes on the fireplace. It was surreal, such hospitality and kindness are rare to find. The kids and the dog were adorable, too.
The homestay is very spacious, high ceiling, and very modern, minimalistic fengshue'ish decor. The room is very clean and comfy. The home is located on the citadel, near the main monument. It is also far from noisy tourists and karaoke bars.I loved the fact that it's a non tourist area because I had the chance to interact with the real Vietnamese people who were kind and smiling, and the small kids waving and saying hello, was heart melting. . I had a great time experiencing their culture and their foods, and the pleasure to eat the most delicious street foods on the area; the bun bo hue soup just outside the home, the ice ka- phe and the fried bananas were simply divine.

Lasen made me feel like home when I first came to Hue
Pros:

Highly recommended for foreigners when coming to Hue to fully experience "the real Hue" with the Hue lifestyle and the Hue people.

- Về địa điểm, Lasen ở gần hồ Tịnh Tâm (một hồ sen rất đẹp) và gần khu Đại Nội, nên không xô bồ tấp nập mà rất yên tĩnh.
- Không gian ở Lasen được decor bằng những chất liệu mộc mạc như gỗ, linen, đặc biệt mình rất thích chiếc gối ôm bằng vải nhuộm chàm vẽ sáp ong ở phòng Thu An - một điểm nhấn nhỏ mà tinh tế. Lasen còn sử dụng bình nước thuỷ tinh (refill) thay vì chai nhựa. Tuy sống chung không gian với chủ nhà (host) nhưng mình vẫn có sự riêng tư rất thoải mái khi được sử dụng toàn bộ không gian ở tầng 2. Với người đi công tác một mình, và là nữ như mình, sống cùng với host như vậy khiến mình yên tâm hơn về sự an toàn.

Hi vọng có nhiều người sẽ hữu duyên đến được với Lasen hơn trong tương lai. Mến yêu Lasen đã cho mình cảm giác ấm áp khi tới Huế.
