everything is great!
The staffs were very courteous and helpful. Getting around was not a problem, transportation was just a phone call away.
The moment I wanted to make a payment, awful it was that they don’t accept card payment although my payment method was secured with a bank card. The receptionist ( tanned skin, tall female) who handled me was courteous.
My room was excellent, the interiors and furnitures were good, I was amazed that I thought my stay in TRZ is going to be great, however it turned bitter when the WiFi wasn’t functioning. Ended me cancelling the booking, opted out to a different property. It took them almost an hour to rectify the issue and I had to raise my voice to the office personnel. Frustrated because I had to attend a meeting within the next 45 mins.
By the way, there was one of the girl in the office who baldly told I entered a wrong password when in fact no network were detected. She had a sulky reaction which made me furious over all those haywire and I started to grumble effing away to MYSELF, sat down on the chair patiently till Vignesh escorted me to the room to check on the issue.
The lady boss, called me and stated that the WiFi will be restored and enquired me on why did I reacted as such to the office girl and that made her cry! Oh pathetic it was to hear and witness cry baby dramas instead of it’s the property’s mishandling.
She kept provoking and arguing with me, her guest. Bear in mind she mentioned initially she is out of town or so that she wasn’t interested in getting the issue sorted but now she has a whole lot of time to argue with me for the drama of her staff. Disgusting. I opted to call booking.com and made arrangements to cancel the booking and checked out.
Such a horrible experience I had with this so called heritage like property. I wanted to give a 5 star review and even thought of recommending to my fellows friends who travel but nope. NEVER!

if u can provide a land phone in the room, so that the guests feel more secure..
if one does not ve their own vehicle , better take phone number of the Srirangam auto rickshaw drivers who drop u near the temple premises,
as it is dificult to get an Auto rickshaw outside the property ( though OLA is available ) ,
especialy wen ur planning to visit Srirangam Temple at 6 Am as it opens for early morning Pooja ..
A calm, quiet and professionally managed accommodation by kind ladies. Tasty breakfast and a lot of help from the owners.
Beautiful place, lovely staff, informative conversations and homely delicious breakfast. Loved everything about the Indian residency. Would recommend it to the friends/family and would stay there if we return to Tiruchirapalli.

GOOD SERVICE AND PEOPLE
IT IS OK
We had a really great stay at Indian Residency. The owner, his family and staff were extremely kind and they care a lot about their guests. Srirangam island is an extraordinary place and although the residency is outside the main city it is close enough for convenient tuktuk service. The twin room was huge in comparison to most homestays in Tamil Nadu and the marble floor kept the place really cool along with the AC. There are nice basic amenities in the room for guests too.
The shower fixtures are slightly faulty and mosquito control can be improved
