We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back!
Pros:

Huge room& nice balcony.
The host war extremely friendly, helpful & cooked us every day a delicious (vegan) breakfast!
He also prepared us „breakfast to go“ for our leaving day early in the nothingness (03:00 am)
Thank you!!!!

Cons:

You have to walk around 25 minutes to go there from „Main Street“ but for us this was a point to choose this accommodation (we we didn’t want to stay close to center)

Excellent hospitality!
Pros:

Alasdair is extremely hospitable! The breakfast each morning was delicious and such generous portions. This is a brilliant location to explore Ella. It’s away from the hustle of the Main Street, but you can walk into Ella in 20 minutes or a 5 minute tuk tuk. Such brilliant value for money. Don’t hesitate about staying here!

Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, making sure we had all we needed. Breakfast was super good! It was nice to have a terrace.

Cons:

A luggage reck for bags in the room would be a nice addition.

Pros:

Der Gastgeber hat uns am meisten Gefallen. So ein netter Mensch, der alles tut damit man sich wohlfühlt. Das Homestay liegt 20 minuten zu fuss entfernt von Ella, an einem Hang mit toller Aussicht.
Es bietet die Möglichkeit von da aus schöne Wanderungen zum Ella Rock zu machen oder sich einfach nur etwas zu erholen. Das Zimmer bietet genügend Platz und hat einen tollen Balkon. Das Bett hat eine Daunendecke was es besonders toll macht (da ella in den Bergen liegt, braucht man diese auch).
Das Frühstück ist der Hammer. Der Gastgeber gestaltet das Frühstück nach deinen Wünschen.

Cons:

- das Badezimmer stank etwas, aber man hält sich ja nicht mega viel dort auf
- das zimmer liegt direkt an einer Strasse. Ein Tuk Tuk oder Lastwagen hört man extrem gut. Ich habe mit Ohropax geschlafen.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt :)
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr angenehm. Besonders schön war die Aussicht (die man sowohl während dem leckeren Frühstücken genießen konnte, als auch vom eigenen Balkon aus).

Der Host war sehr freundlich und immer da um Fragen zu beantworten. Er hat sich beim Frühstück an unsere Wünsche gerichtet und sich darum gekümmert, dass alles passt.

Auch die Wäsche wurde uns zu einem guten Preis gewaschen! Man hätte dort ebenso ein Tuktuk oder Moped ausleihen können, wir haben das allerdings nicht gemacht, da wir den Spaziergang in die Stadt (ca. 15 min) sehr angenehm fanden. Am Abend sind wir dann mit dem Tuktuk wieder den Hügel hochgefahren ( dafür zahlt man ca. 500-600 Rupies)

Cons:

Eigentlich hat alles gepasst. Das Bad hätte vielleicht ein bisschen sauberer sein können, aber das war wirklich nicht der Rede wert! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli et nous sommes sentis comme chez nous!
Le personnel est absolument adorable et très prévenant.
Le petit déjeuner était succulent et abondant.
N’hésitez pas à goûter la nourriture du restaurant gérer par cette famille, la nourriture est très bonne!

Cons:

La température de l’eau de la douche est assez aléatoire
Le logement est situé à environ 25 minutes de marches de Ella! (Mais la vue sur le chemin est superbe)

Der Gastgeber Alston ist extrem nett, herzlich und bemüht!! Das Frühstück war super lecker und authentisch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut, besonderst gut, hat uns auch der Balkon gefallen
Die Lage ist gut, die Unterkunft ist aber auf einem Hügel gelegen (bergauf dann ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß von der Stadt)

Cons:

Das Wlan hat nicht immer gut funktioniert und man hört die Geräusche der Straße ziemlich laut (die Straße ist aber nicht stark befahren)

Great stay with a kind and helpful host
Pros:

I think the room was great for its price. I especially want to highlight the person who welcomed me. Alson is a very kind and friendly person. He gave me useful advice on what and where to buy.

Even though I had to leave early in the morning by train, he still prepared breakfast for me, even though it meant waking up very early. That was really thoughtful!

The room was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There is also a small shared kitchen where you can prepare something if you want. The balcony, with a partial view of the surroundings, was a nice bonus.

Cons:

It’s best to use a tuk-tuk to get to the center of Ella and back, as the hotel is located uphill. Also, the hotel has bad sound insulation, so street noise - such as passing cars and music from bars and cafes - can be heard until midnight, but this was not a problem for me.
