Overall pleasant experience with great travel recommendations
Pros:

Good hospitality. Staff were very kind. When I mentioned the sheets were dirty they immediately changed it.
- Wonderful Kerala breakfast
- Shower was functional and had good pressure
- Good wifi
- Helped us arrange tour with Village Backwaters Cruise in Vaikom
- Helped us rent a scooter and provided advice on things to do

Cons:

- Room AC was very dirty
- Initially, the sheets and pillowcases were arranged but dirty

Exceptional
Pros:

Its a romantic place with swing nets and seats facing the backwater. Breakfast was served by a female staff who seems like a family member who prepared it and served hot. Coffee and tea served with the breakfast was awesome. Never felt that we are in a different space.. Got a homely touch with a nice ambiance around.

Avoid if possible
Pros:

It was close to local streets and shops.
I asked the guy in charge to cook us simple omelette and toast breakfast which he did.

Cons:

Main building property looks nice as per photos but suite room and king room it doesn’t. Property is not clean. I booked suite room and as soon as I walked in to the bathroom I could smell damp and wee.
Had to ask for toilet paper. Clean the bathroom.
Ask for tea spoon, cups in the room.
After booking in, they have moved us to a smaller room to allow another booking In to our room to have a big party. Big mistake that I agreed to change. Party was going on until 4:30am. Could not have any sleep. Complained to the property owner just after midnight, it went quiet for a bit but it started again at 2:30 until 4:30.
The way I was treated but the owner of the property was totally unacceptable. I would not stay there again even if they were to offer free stay.

Love the ambience.

Cons:

Lighting in the room was not great. Had two white tube lights. No warm lights etc. A few things scattered around the premises
