Beautiful room and property! Our host was incredibly kind and warm she made our stay memorable.
Room can get quite hot without aircon but with all the doors open you get a nice breeze!
The owner’s wife was super sweet and attentive. They have an extra fridge and you can use it if you need it. The room has a small balcony, you can sit and chill there. They have a laundry service, super nice!
Tons of mosquitoes. It was really hard to sleep because of them, even with the net, we got several mosquito bites. Oh and ants all over the bathroom and room, we didn’t mind them but if you don’t like them… then watch out.

Moonlit Bay is my favorit place to stay when I visit the Weligama area. Usually I stay up to 1 month at the time. The location is perfect for me. The location is situated right next to surfing at fishermans point if you like to do that and easy access to Weligama town, 2 minutes by bus. The room have everything I need. A comfortable bed, ensuit bathroom, a nice balcony and an extra sink were I can wash up some clothes. I also have access to a refridgerator and a nice sitting area with tables and sofas. But best of all with this place is defenately the owner family. They are the best and very kind people, always friendly and with a smile. They keep my room and the hole place clean and tidy and they make me feel very welcome and give me a feeling of being at home. I love this place.

It is located far from the swimming beaches of Weligama Bay. There isn’t much of a choice in local restaurants. The mosquito netting on the bed is ineffective—it doesn’t reach the floor and with the fan on it is blown around , creating gaps for the mosquitoes to enter and attack. It would be better to have the vents at the top of the doors to have screens, and that way it wouldn’t get so stuffy.
I had a wonderful stay at Moonlit Bay. Good atmosphere, clean and spacious rooms and amazing breakfast. Looking forward to coming back!

The room was really nice, big, clean and comfortable ! :) Plenty of cupboards to put clothes, backpacks etc. A big racks to dry towels and clothes. The balcony was also very nice and the bathroom super clean with a big mirror and very good lights everywhere !!!!

The breakfast was plentiful and wonderful with fresh juice every mornings :)

The location is also really good, not far from Welligama main beach and 15min walk from the beautiful Jungle beach and a bit further Coconut Beach. Away from the noise of the town it was a quiet and enjoyable place :)
The lady who run the place is lovely, always smiling and will help you with everything you need.

Very warm welcome from the hosts and were pleasant throughout my stay. Nice breakfast every morning. Room was a good size with balcony.
