"PALAZZO SABBIONI" Suite del Conte Elegant Suite In Old Monastery City Center

Location was superb. Not only was the street authentically medieval but also very quiet. Very close to the center of everything. Could not have asked for better. Upon entering the main door we were awed and thrilled by the authentic entry, and large stained glass doors that opened into the large garden, which contained a 100 year old apricot tree, an 80 year old snapping turtle named Cozu who was a delight even if he did not appreciate our presence (wear closed shoes in the garden). The garden had ample comfy seating and lounging, and a very old stone sink with running water. VERY charming. Our room had 100 year old door shutters, again very charming and special, and our doors looked out into the garden. Upon entering our room, we are so happy to see the size, cleanliness, storage, sofa, table and beautiful antiques. There was plenty of light.. The bath was super clean and very comfortable with large shower and good hot water. The room was also in original ceilings and floors. It was such a delight to wake up and return to this room in the evening. To nap in the garden amongst ancient walls. Do Not miss the opportunity to stay here. It is very important to mention that Alessandro the host was extremely responsive, kind, helpful in every way, and even got us a cab to the train station when we were having trouble getting through; an excellent host in every way. The bed was large, plenty of pillows, and comfortable. Italian beds in general are much harder than US beds, and by far this bed was the most comfortable we stayed in. Plenty of blankets (we were there in Oct). Our room had a breakfast pantry with coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and dishes and glasses, utensils; all you might need for a quick breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. Struttura elegante e rilassante! Ci siamo trovate benissimo e il proprietario Alessandro è davvero cordiale e sempre disponibile.
Il bb si trova proprio in centro e la possibilità di poter utilizzare le biciclette e girare per Ferrara rende ancora più magico tutto. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

We had a fabulous experience here from every aspect. Alessandro could not have done more to make us feel welcome, give advice or just chat in his wonderful courtyard garden. The room was incredibly spacious, tastefully furnished, comfortable and uncluttered and the bathroom large and modern. It was an absolute historical gem and oasis right in the heart of the old town and very peaceful at night. Just a couple of minutes away were loads of bars, cafes, restaurants and all the sights of the old town. It was a 30 min walk from the Station but easy as flat and not busy. We only stayed 2 nights and in all honestly would have preferred to spend our whole week here and use it as a base for the other cities. We enjoyed Ferrara and Palazzo Sabbioni that much. We will definitely be returning.

Located in the old town - plenty of restaurants and shops very close. Castle only a few minutes walk away. The apartment was like having a large comfortable hotel room. Very large bathroom with excellent walk-in shower. Outside area was a boon in hot weather. Host was very pleasant and helpful. A very pleasant stay.

Beautiful room in an excellent location. The room is very large, comfortable and tastefully furnished. There is a large, well-appointed bathroom and a small kitchen area with a kettle, coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Pleasant garden with a friendly tortoise. Very quiet and restful.

Good room/studio in historic center of Ferrara, very high ceilings, spacious room and bathroom. Coffee/tea making facilities plus fridge in a side cupboard (no sink there, just in the bathroom). Renovated bathroom. Convenient for exploring the city center of Ferrara. Late check-in possible, as there is an automated system for check-in, very useful in case you arrive late.

The luxury of space: a charming large bedroom, roomy recently renovated bathroom, and a sweet garden outlook. Great location. Good value.

Most welcoming and accommodating host who went out of his way to help practically and with advice. Very comfy beds. Centrally located for the town ; quiet and beautiful location. Would recommend.

Lots if room to spread outside inside,but also the lovely garden to sit in as well. Perfectly located in the historic center if Ferrara; we could walk everywhere!
