Ausgezeichnet!
Pros:

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Schon bei unserer Ankunft hat er uns sogar einen Transfer vom Yala Nationalpark organisiert – wirklich ein toller Service!

Da die Unterkunft zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht ausgebucht war, konnten wir uns sogar aussuchen, welches Zimmer wir gerne hätten. Auch später war der Gastgeber immer für uns da und hat uns für einen sehr fairen Preis von 500 in die Stadt gefahren. Mit dem Tuk-Tuk sind es etwa 5 Minuten, zu Fuß ungefähr 15 Minuten. Der Weg ist schön und gut zu Fuß machbar, solange es nicht regnet – es geht zwar etwas rauf und runter, aber das hat uns nicht gestört.

Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Auch der Waschservice war super und sehr unkompliziert.

Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich perfekt. Für uns war aber vor allem der Gastgeber das absolute Highlight und hat unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

Het uitzicht was prachtig en de kamer was oké. Er was een enorm fijn dakterras met lekkere stoelen! Besef je wel dat het een intense rit / wandeling is naar deze accommodatie, die het wel waard is!

Cons:

Er lagen veel dode vliegen op de klamboe. Daarnaast waren er veel beestjes (kleine mieren?) op de badkamer. Verder was het relatief schoon.

Très bon séjour ! La vue depuis la chambre est superbe et vraiment agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est également très plaisant, avec une ambiance agréable. Une belle expérience, je recommande !

Mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer op de eerste verdieping, je kijkt zo de vallei in.
Aardige eigenaren die proberen het je naar het zin te maken.

Cons:

Niet heel schoon sanitair, er was een kikker en een kakkerlak in de badkamer.
Het muggennet om het bed was oud en bij een klein beetje druk (zitten op een deel van het muggennet) brak de houten constructie die het net vasthield. Deze bleek vol met houtrot wat op het bed viel. Waren gelijk begripvol en zouden het repareren.
Verouderd, maar rustig. Lopend dichtbij het ststion van Ella, rijdend wat verder weg want omrijden.

Un lugar encantador (algo lejos). Para repetir sin duda.
Pros:

Que terraza más agradable!!!!

El sitio tiene un encanto especial. Las habitaciones son muy correctas y la terraza donde puedes tomar el desayuno y las cenas (no incluidas en el precio) es fantástica. El desayuno es muy bueno.

En cuanto a los propietarios, sólo decir que son muy agradables, y siempre se preocupan por ayudarte en todo lo que sea necesario.

Cons:

La ubicación es especial. No está cerca del centro, pero en unos 15-20 minutos de agradable paseo llegas sin problema. Pero esa lejanía hace que esté en un sitio muy tranquilo, con unas vistas excelentes. Para mi es un punto a favor, pero entiendo que a los que quieren estar en el centro no les guste tanto.

Cuando estuvimos, la carretera de acceso estaba de obras, así que tuvimos que dar algo de vuelta y tuvimos que dejar el tuk tuk algo lejos, pero seguramente esas obras ya habrán acabado.

Der Eigentümer ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt Tipps für den Ella Rock und die Wasserfälle. Außerdem variiiert er das Frühstücksangebot jeden Tag etwas und sorgt für Abwechslung (wir waren 4 Nächte da!).

Ubicación excepcional en un entorno natural muy agradable. El dueño es muy amable. Nos llevó en tuk tuk gratuitamente. El desayuno, buenísimo.

Tranquilidad y vistas en Ella
Pros:

El desayuno recién hecho en la terraza con vistas. Familia muy amable y servicial.

Cons:

Por mala suerte estaban arreglando la carretera que va a Ella y estaba cortada. Son unos 20 min caminando al centro, normalmente se podría coger tuktuk.

Absolutely stunning views, spectacular. Owner kindly picked us up and dropped us off. The walk from Ella is 20 minutes. Breakfast was lovely on the balcony.

La casa está en plena naturaleza, las vistas muy bonitas, incluso vimos pasar el tren (que es toda una atracción aquí) desde el balcón. La familia muy amable, buen desayuno servido en la terraza, nos lavaron la ropa por un precio muy correcto. La casa está como a 10-15 minutos caminando desde el pueblo con rampas que subes y bajan, pero es un camino seguro y no fue un problema. Camas cómodas y buenas mosquiteras.

Cons:

El lavabo de nuestra habitación un poco antiguo, pero limpio y funcional. Y las almohadas muy gordas para mi gusto.
