Highlight: Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberfamilie
Pros:

Sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich um alles kümmern. Die Aussicht ist super, das Frühstück lecker und um den Transport wurde sich auch gekümmert. Eine sehr liebe und herzliche Familie.

Pros:

The staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good. The room is fine and the bed is very comfortable. Next to the accommodation there is a place to eat excellent the best of Ella "Café freedom"

Cons:

We had the bad luck of being there just when they think of repairing the accommodation. Noises from 7:30 am to 15 pm of hammers and drills I understand but I think it was possible to consult at what time we would not be and consider our opinion or let us know the day before. It was unpleasant that they cut off our electricity every day because of this mentioned and the location is far away and does not allow cell phone signal to arrive and the wifi does not work well.

The business was prioritised for the next few months than the people who were already there. Thank you for the good and to consider the not so good.

Cosy stay
Pros:

I like the vibes there. Room was cozy. Since I was travelling solo, host lady gave me the room in corner and I felt safe. The breakfast was yum.

Sehr schöne Aussicht, leckeres Frühstück und super lieber Host. Wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen. Für uns die beste Art Ella zu bereisen.

Tolle Unterkunft um sich etwas vom Reisestress zu erholen
Pros:

Die Gastgeber waren extrem herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben ihren Taxi-Service dankend angenommen und wurden sicher und schnell an unser nächstes Ziel gebracht. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Unterkunft an sich außerhalb der Stadt und schön gelegen, umgeben von Natur. Die Zimmer waren klein aber sauber.

Cons:

Das Bad wirkte etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Super fijne homestay
Pros:

Super lieve familie om bij te verblijven, warm ontvangst en afscheid. Ze denken graag met je mee over alles. Zoon heeft ons een dagje met de tuktuk rondgebracht en sprak zeer goed Engels dus was leuk met hem te kletsen. De kamer was super schoon en het balkon is fijn om tijd door te brengen in alle rust. Toch ook vlakbij Ella (met tuktuk).

Cons:

Als je echt in Ella wilt zitten is het was ver lopen, maar voor ons juist fijn dat we buiten de stad zaten. Ontbijt was oke.

Terrible, don't waste your money here

Cons:

The lady was super rude to us, never once genuine, you could tell she didn't care about us at all, only about money.
She tried to get more money from us insinuating that we broke the fan in the room when she knew very well it was already in that condition when we checked in. The breakfast was meant to be traditional Sri Lankan but in the morning most items were not there, she only gave us fruit and bread with jam, to which I complained. Even then, the breakfast was quite bad, it wasn't tasty or fresh. The room was mediocre and the toilet paper holder broke multiple times out of nowhere, plus there was no hot water. The bathroom door locked me in and out twice and apparently this has happened before but she didn't seem to care once more, actually she acted bothered when we told her to fix it.
In general our stay was bad, and I think she treated me & my partner differently because he was a local.
Don't waste your money here.

Very nice homestay
Pros:

The house is well located outside of the busy and noisy city centre and is very close to the main road, from which it is easy to take tuk tuks of walk to the town.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Una notte tra il verde
Pros:

Struttura carina, personale molto gentile.
Le stanze al piano alto hanno una bella vista.

Cons:

La posizione per raggiungere la struttura bisogna salire a piedi e per chi ha problemi è scomoda. I bagagli invece vengono portati sopra dal tuc tuc.
