Úžasný pobyt za dostupnou cenu!
Pros:

Nejvíce se nám líbila lokalita, a cena. Hotel nám zařídil vyjížďku do poště. Personál byl velmi milý. Dokonce nám i zařídili lístky do Dehli. Hodně času jsme strávili nahoře v kavárně se super atmosférou.

Cozy homestay inside the fort
Pros:

Super warm athmosphere, felt just like home, mostly because the hosts were so welcoming :) also, it was super special to sleep inside the fort!!

The plumbing in the shower did not work. Had to take a cold shower in the morning.

The location was beautiful and full of history. The homestay owner ashish was really friendly and explained everything about the area very well. Always made us feel welcome and at home as well as the other people there in the restaurant too.

Lovely staff, exceptional location, phenomenal views - especially sunrise & lovely affordable rooms
Pros:

My Jaisalmer trip was truly special thanks to Ashish Bhaiya and his team. I stayed at Hotel Surja (they also run Marigold, which is how I found them). The rooms are clean and peaceful, and because the hotel is right against the fort walls, the views of both the city and the fort are breathtaking. It’s a serene spot, mostly visited by international travelers, making it perfect if you prefer an authentic atmosphere over a party scene.
While the stay was lovely, you must do the desert safari they organise. It’s a separate, immersive experience where we spent a couple of days camping under the stars. Ashish, Babu Bhaiya, and the rest of the crew were so attentive. By the end, our small group felt like a close-knit family despite being from all over the world. On our last night, we even shared a meal from one large plate, a truly beautiful moment. Ashish Bhaiya handled everything from bus stand pickups to the smallest details. 100% recommended for an authentic Jaisalmer journey!
Food, location, price, staff are beyond excellent.

Cons:

For me this is not an issue, but maybe could be for some: That its within the fort so maybe not great for older people who dreads walking uphill (autos were not plying in the day, Ashish bhaiiya helped with the luggage on his vehicle. At night autos go inside the fort so, that shouldn't be a problem then.

It was my second time at the homestay and I felt right at home again.
The rooms are spacious and clean and Ashish was available for anything, as always.
Big recommendation when you come to Jaisalmer, you won't forget this place.

Marigold Homestay is a gem! Located inside the fort and next to the palace, it's perfectly situated. I've stayed here twice now, and the welcoming family makes you feel right at home. It's a great spot for solo travelers - safe, friendly, and always something to do. The siblings, Ankita and Ashish, are the highlight! Ankita's henna art is stunning, and Ashish is super helpful with planning safaris and trips to nearby villages. And the best part? You won't need the internet when you're with them - the siblings are better than any meme! Pure entertainment! And the sweetest touch! They surprised me with rose petals tossed on the bed - hahaha -  cheeeeeeesy, but I love you, guys 😍

Plus, there's Kim's Café open 24/7, so you can order anything at any time and Mister Ali will happily whip it up for you. Perfect combo of hospitality and convenience!

Soggiorno a Jaisalmer stupendo!..struttura pulitissima e accogliente..in una posizione perfetta!.stanza spaziosa e ordinata...è stata la mia seconda volta lì...e tornerò sicuramente...il gestore Ashish è gentile e disponibile...su richiesta organizza anche escursioni nel deserto...lo consiglio a tutti
