Perfect location for budget travelers. Strong Wi-Fi. Also very easy to communicate with the host.
From SJD airport , you can take the public bus for MXN 90 and get off at Chedraui and walk for 10 mins to reach the place. Along the way, you can find money exchange office where you can get a very good rate for USD. We just exchange a small amount of USD at the airport. Very convenient to find food and groceries. Across the street is Soriana Hiper and other stores, food court at the 3rd floor. Besides the house is Grace Bakery that offers very good delicious selection of bread. Going to the Marina and other beach area is very convenient and cheap by taking the bus collectivo for MXN 16 +. Going back to your place just look for the sign Soriana. Going to the airport is also very easy. Across the street where you got off is the bus station to the airport.

Small older but comfy bedroom , private bathroom (toilet small sink, shower)Completely independent from the house , excellent wi-fi, was able to watch my own Netflix on my own laptop (no tvl) location very near Soriana (large shopping mall, walking distance from very good gymn facility(Smart Fit) Cineapolis, lot of taxi, ubers, and busses nearby by the shopping Center 2 min walk.
I frequently took a 15 minutes local bus (13:50 pesos /less than 1US dollars to go to Cabo San Lucas , and Melano beach.
On the bus look for "Centro" that bring you downtown, to come back look for busses that have " Soriana" and that bring you back
It is not a resort. They do not come to make your room. They will exchanges your sheets but I did my own bed.
Jorge and his wife were quick to answer my questions or inquiries and very pleasant to talk with them.
Not a fancy place but found it very convenient. Not a tourist place but well located to visit all the tourists places too. I spent a month there, had a month membership with Smart Fit gymn and after workout actually took all my daily showers at the gymn so never used the shower in my room.
I enjoyed living like the local and felt safe. Most of the home have full wall metal gate to enter the property, so very private and secured. The room was on a second floor that you go up the stairs outside, so you do not have to go through the home, you just go up the outside stairs to your own accommodation.. There was two other independent accommodations beside mine. No problems at all.
The low price for the Month was initially why I had chosen that location, and although choose to stay in a none tourist place, that was perfect for me. I was mainly gone exploring all days and enjoyed meetings the locals whom made me feels welcome. My neighbors were workers, gone all days too, rare occasions that we met outside, peoples were respectful, pleasant , quiet.
