Family Moroccan House

This place really feels like a family house. Very welcoming and comfortable. I got picked up from the bus, which arrives in the dark. I really enjoyed this place, the vibe is just great and the view from the rooftop is amazing. I also stayed in a fancy hotel in Merzouga because of the pool and it being closer to the dunes, but it was a cold place and the staff had such a bad attitude. I regret not staying here longer and enjoy the town from here. It's a 5 min walk to the town, with some restaurants and shops. The dunes are a bit further but it's still an easy walk during the day and you can book tours and such.

The hospitality. Wow! Ali was a brother from another mother in the literal sense. Even before we arrived he got in touch with me on WhatsApp and asked if i need help with anything. As soon as we arrived he offered free tea and talked to us. I inquired about the tours and he was very transparent about the costs and expectations. He even accommodated my special request. Offered me his sand board at no cost. The next morning the breakfast was very filling and he gave us company until we left. Then later in the day he messaged me again if we reached our destination safely. These Berber folks are simple, down to earth and open their hearts to the people of the world. They deserve all our respect and support. Don't hesitate to book this property!

我和我老婆只在梅尔祖卡停留一天，不想住帐篷，订了一家靠近沙漠的民宿。

我们从瓦尔扎扎特坐车到梅尔祖卡，晚上8点半，民宿老板在车站接我们去酒店，我们在酒店吃了晚饭。

早上7点我俩从民宿出发，去沙漠拍照，民宿离沙漠非常近，在沙漠里非常出片。 我俩时间紧迫，没有玩任何项目，老板也没有任何抱怨。 如果想体验骑骆驼，越野冲沙，沙漠帐篷露营，可以直接找老板预定。

The owner, Ali, is super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there and we are looking forward to coming back again

Loved Ali's hospitality, and also I felt so free at the property, very safe. Also very authentic - that's actual desert-style house made of mud, and I felt very immersed into true local experience there. Staff provided me access to the property's kitchen when I wanted to cook rice or prepare tea - that's a rare amenity that I value at hotels and guest houses. Also loved early morning pickup and care during my stay. Good hot water access.

The breakfast and the Tagine was delicious. The people were super nice and friendly.

Everything. Very cosy, clean, comfortable. Excellent bed. Ali is the best host you could ever dream of and will go out of his way to help and accommodate you. He will also give you excellent prices for tours and activities. Look no further, this is the place to book.

Very big breakfast. Simple but nice hotel. Also possible to book tours here. We did a quad tour for 40 euros per person and a 4x4 tour for 30 euros per person. Both tours were really great!

The location is perfect, basically next to the dunes and a 5 minute walk from the town centre, with lots of options for food and relaxing.

The house decor is also extremely nice with traditional colours, carpets, sofas etc. There is plenty of space to relax in silence or watch the stars, we felt like at home with so much space available.

The breakfast was delicious, we tried literally everything, it is mostly traditional food cooked perfectly, plus continental additions.

The hospitality from the family deserves the best score. Such a friendly family, they took care of us from our arrival, helping us finding food late at night, preparing breakfast for us and allowing us to eat and relax at our own pace. They always made sure we had everything we needed.
Finally, the Erg chebbi dunes... something out of this world!

Ali the owner was amazing! We arrived at Merzouga late in the night with the bus, and he arranged for us the transportation from the bus station to the hotel completely for free.
It is a humble place but very clean and comfortable, right at the beginning of the dunes so that makes it the perfect spot to explore the area.
Ali gave us all the necessary information to plan our stay in the desert, giving us different options on how to spend our time with fun and relaxation.
The breakfast was huge and excellent, from moroccan pastries to berber omelette, fresh fruits and tasty jams.
He organized for us our luxury camp experience from the camel transportation through the desert, all the way to the back to his home.

Ali and his family were super friendly and helpful. He perfectly organised all necessary things during my trip in Merzouga. Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality.

Ali is a great host. He is friendly, has great customer service and provided good advice about what to do. He organised for me to be picked up from the bus stop, was helpful in organising a fantastic overnight camp in the Sahara and provided information about taking grande taxis/local bus for my return journey. Breakfast was also good.
I heartily recommend staying with Ali. I also recommend doing the luxury camp in the Sahara through Ali. It is truly a luxury experience that you won't regret. I certainly will treasure the experience.

Ali was the perfect host, very kind and welcoming. He helped us arrange activities such as ATVs, sand boarding, and a camel ride to the dunes at sunset, all for a very good price and on short notice. He was always attentive and available, making us feel at home. Always offering tea and even gave us a departing gift which was very nice! He even kept in touch after we checked out to make sure our journey back was good. The accommodation was very clean and is a great deal for the price. We would definitely come back and stay again if we returned to Marzouga!! Highly recommend!! Thank you!!
