Sigiriya River Side Resort

La piscine est un plus dans cette région. La chambre est plutôt sommaire mais fait le taf...la douche est chaude. Le petit resto dépanne bien parce que l'hôtel est situé à 1km de marche du centre.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. De host Lal is superlief en wil alleen het beste voor zijn gasten. Schone nette kamers, het zwembad is top, en je kunt drinken en heerlijke maaltijden bestellen bij de bar. Ook het ontbijt is erg lekker! Tijdens ons verblijf was het Sinhalees nieuw jaar, we werden direct uitgenodigd om dit samen met Lal en zijn vrienden te vieren. Een verblijf om niet te vergeten!

Had a great stay - all staff are very accommodating and the bossman can speak excellent english and arrange anything you need - pool area is good, cool and relaxing after climbing the rocks 🪨

A wonderful hotel. The owner is incredibly helpful and polite. We were charmed by both the staff and the hotel itself. And the restaurant—that’s a story in itself. The food is only prepared after you place your order. So, you get a meal prepared just for you. One day, the restaurant was being cleaned, so the staff set up a table for us in the shade near the beds and served everything in a wonderfully organized manner. The pool was perfect after all the excursions and hikes up Pidurangala Hill, Lion Rock, and other excursions.

Tout était parfait, nous avions une chambre au calme avec la climatisation. La piscine était très agréable et nous en avons bien profité !
Notre hôtel était très serviable et par ailleurs très bon cuisinier de toute sorte de plat. Notre petit fille s'est régalée là bas ! Idéal pour une visite en famille !

Brilliant stay the least amount of bugs of anywhere we have stayed. Absolutely lovely family the son in law owns his own tour company and they go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. We had dinner one night and it was brilliant for a very good price, lovely Curries. Cannot recommend this place enough, though not advertised a few reviews mention they have a pool but you currently cannot use it. They took us to a pool down the road in the tuktuk which was lovely

Toller Aufenthalt mit unseren zwei Kindern (10 und 7). Man fühlt sich willkommen und es herrscht eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre. Gutes Frühstück und toller Pool. Wir sind sowohl zum Pidurangala (Sonnenuntergang) und Sigiriya (Sonnenaufgang). Tuk-Tuk und/oder Taxi werden organisiert oder von der Familie gleich selber geboten. Sehr zu empfehlen. Indiga (Vater der Familie) haben wir im Anschluss gleich 4 Tage als Fahrer gebucht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank!

Emplacement au milieu de la nature, piscine agréable, table délicieuse et cuisine sri-lankaise, petit-déjeuner nickel, chambre confortable. En plus le patron est super sympa, se coupe en 4 pour votre bien-être et sait à peu près tout faire. Ambiance générale propice à la détente. Vu le rapport qualité-prix, allez-y les yeux fermés !

It was one of the best homestays in Sri Lanka. Really nice family, the owner is helping you with everything: arrangend a Safari whenever we wanted, we had a nice Kajaktour on the lake as well. I arrived a bit late and he drove me to a really good Restaurant as he didn‘t wanted me to walk alone in the dark. Very clean and the breakfast was also very delicious! Will come back for sure.

Ontbijt was elke dag heerlijk en vers. Fijne is dat je het zo laat als je wilt kan nemen, dus als je een uitslaper bent, kan je nog steeds ervan genieten . De manager en z’n personeel staan altijd voor je klaar en helpen je ook graag verder in je reis. Eigenaar kent het eiland enorm goed, met veel goede aanbevelingen. Hij spreekt ook perfect Engels.

Los dueños son muy simpáticos y te ayudan en la medida de lo posible en lo que sea. Tiene piscina para refrescarte y estás rodeado de jungla para desconectar, pero cerca de la calle principal para dar una vuelta y comer algo.
