FAntastico lugar Vistas increibles
Pros:

Habitación grande con una gran terraza con vistas fantásticas.
Personal muy amable, nos ayudaron en todo momento.
Nos recogieron y llevaron en tuc tuc desde el centro de ELLA sin coste

Had a wonderful stay here! The atmosphere was fantastic and the hospitality really made the experience amazing. Nimal was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, going above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!

Muy bonita estancia
Pros:

Habitación amplia, limpia y cómoda.
Lo mejor la atención de Nimal, siempre dispuesto a ayudar.
Cuando llegamos nos dimos cuenta de que la hamaca estaba rota y no tardó nada en arreglarlo.
Tiene incluso una cama y una mesa con sillas en la terraza para nosotros solos maravillosas.
Desayunos deliciosos y vistas espectaculares.
Nos recomendó sitios estupendos

Cons:

La única pega que tiene el alojamiento es la ubicación. Aunque está a 10 minutos andando del centro, son muchas cuestas muy empinadas y nos costaba incluso conseguir tuk tuk que quisieran llevarnos y de noche el camino no estaba iluminado.
Si no fuera por eso, le daría un 10

fabulous host, fabulous view and great breakfast
Pros:

it was very clean and nimal is very helpful and made sure everything was good including giving us tuk tuk rides around Ella. The room was spacious and came with a fridge and the outdoor space offered a great view of adam’s peak and for sunrise where nimal has hammocks for you to use. breakfast was plentiful and delicious as well.

Cons:

just a small one there was only one plug that we could use that fits are adapators, but they are plenty of sockets in the room

Pros:

The view from the rooms over the mountains is truly beautiful! The owner is very welcoming. The Sri lankan breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The walk to the town is wonderful. A stay I highly recommend. Thank you very much!

Gute Lage mit toller Aussicht
Pros:

Die beiden obersten Zimmer sind am besten, da nur dort beste Aussicht. Die Zimmer darunter schauen auf eine Plattform mit Hängematten. Bequeme Betten, super Frühstück. Auch die Lage ist nur ein paar Minuten vom Zentrum weg an den Bahngleisen entlang. Der Gehweg ist viel näher als der Fahrweg.

Cons:

Man kann nur mit dem TukTuk dorthin gelangen. Unser Fahrer wollte/konnte mit dem Auto nicht hochfahren.

Friendly host, beautiful views, and a perfect location
Pros:

We had a really memorable stay at Back of Beyond’s Junior Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the setting is truly stunning – a remote, peaceful location where you really feel immersed in nature.

The team organised an excellent safari for us in Yala National Park, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable, which made the experience even more special.

The tents were cosy and comfortable, and we all slept well, with the fans keeping things cool and a lovely sea breeze coming through. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was a real highlight, and we weren’t bothered by insects at night.

That said, the tents could do with a little maintenance. In both tents our group used, the doors didn’t fully close and there were some small holes in the mosquito nets. It didn’t detract too much from our stay, but it’s something to be aware of.

The food was delicious throughout, and the team did a great job accommodating our group’s dietary preferences, including preparing non-spicy options for the children and providing vegetarian choices.

Overall, this is a rustic, back-to-nature experience with plenty of charm. A great choice if you’re looking to switch off and enjoy being surrounded by the wild.

First and foremost, Nimal was a fabulous host.
The rooms are fresh and modern, the views were breathtaking, breakfast was delish, and the location was a perfect 8 minute walk into the "hustle and bustle" of main street Ella.

Pros:

Nimal ist ein super lieber und aufmerksamer Host. Er war sehr freundlich, hat uns Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und es gab leckeres Frühstück. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Immer wieder gerne! Auch die Aussicht war genial :)

- Frühstück top, preislich mit 1200lkr super und qualitativ mit das Beste auf unserer Reise
- Ausblick top
- Lage gut, ca. 10 Minuten fußläufig nach Ella City

Cons:

- Ausstattung wurde mit Kühlschrank und Safe angegeben, es gab ausschließlich eine (kostenpflichtig) befüllte und zu teilende Minibar auf dem Flur. Als wir Nimal darauf ansprachen, gab dieser an, nichts davon zu wissen.
- Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, in zwei von 3 Nächten bellten die Hunde aus der Umgebung lautstark.
- Wenn wir Fahrten oder Aktivitäten selbst organisiert haben, fragte er immer wieder nach den Preisen. Selbst wollte er uns eine völlig überteuerte Fahrt für 4000lkr pro Weg zum Little Adams Peak anbieten. Als uns unser Roller gebracht wurde, kam Nimal dazu und stand ungefragt die ganze Zeit dabei. Ich empfand es als sehr unangenehm und aufdringlich.

Pros:

Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Es sind 15min Fußweg in das Zentrum. Der Inhaber hat uns viele tolle Tipps für Wanderungen gegeben und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt sodass wir unseren Aufenthalt noch verlängert haben. Der Aubschied fiel uns schwer. Vielen Dank für alles, Nimal!

A warm welcome and a comfortable bed
Pros:

The view is stunning and the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Nimal is very kind and helpful and very responsive to any queries. Our room was simple and clean. The wifi is good and there is AC

Cons:

We were fine but this location would not suit anyone with mobility issues or if you are unfit. It’s quite a walk from town and initially very steep. Lots of people stay in this road and tuck tuks navigate the journey to and from town easily. From the breakfast area it’s stairs to your room. I don’t think this is entirely clear from recent reviews. Our room had no tv which was ok with us but might not suit others. Our room had a little patio with bean bags and a table and chairs
