Is the perfect location if you like to be out of the tourist zone and bland more into nature and locals :) friendly neighbourhood and surfing spots walk distance away :)
You can see more animals in the garden than on a safari tour for sure ! Waking up with monkeys and they have the cutest dog in the the world
The family is the sweetest kindest family I have met in this trip and we are going to come back for sure :)

We had a very nice stay at Happy living weligama!
Our hosts did everything from providing a Scooter to serving a delicious breakfast or doing our laundry very quickly. The area of the House is very nice and quiet. By Scooter you are within 5 minutes in weligama, from the terrace you even have sea view.

Peaceful, quiet location just a 5 minute tuktuk ride out of Weligama. Several restaurants, bar and beach at walkig distance.
The owners are super friendly. He arranged surfing lessons with a very good teacher and he even gave us a tuktuk ride to Weligama and back for this lesson. Next to this, he works at a small hotel where you can also stay at a very quiet beach on sunbeds and we even saw a turtle over there! If you want to be close to the Sri Lankan culture: defenitely recommendthis place.

Away from the main road, good sleeping and green around

I had the best time staying with Dulip and his lovely family. Breakfast was amazing, room is spacious, clean and has a very comfortable bed. Location is close to some nice local restaurants and bars, and the beach and surf spot are also just a quick stroll away. Also easy to get to Weligama City in about 5 mins by TukTuk. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back!

Lovely family, clean nice room, great daily vegetarian breakfast, peaceful place with Iguana hidden in the bushes :)
Close nice beach where you can surf or just chill and read a book with a close by little cocoanut/fruits shop.
If you wanna stay out of the very noisy road at Wligama beach hotels area but still stay close which is only 2.5KM, this is great choice. Also you get a peek of of a nice neighborhood and their lifestyle with family-restaurants around.

The family is super friendly and it was a pleasure staying with them. We got a nice breakfast and even a tea in the afternoon. This location is perfect if you're seeking some quiet and private time, some good surf (Fishermen's reef is only an 8-minute walk away) and a stunning view down to Weligama (plus the best rice & curry ever) from Tiki bar which is very close.

Very comfortable, quite and cozy place. Regular cleaning, tasty breakfast. Peacocks coming literally every day. Thanks to owners!

Generally it is worth it.
